If Gary Glitter became a billionaire and made a bid for our club would you want us to be taken over by him? :gallashmm:
Come on Dan, you are not a fool, you know exactly what I mean.
I have always been honest in that, I would be happy with oil money to take this club forward, it's probably now the only way to bring success.
With the new Saudi league in play, anyone foolish enough to believe in organic doing it the right way, is living in Dreamland

So you wouldn't mind them coming in as long as they're not convicted, ok then.

PIF own Newcastle and they're the same regime who had that journalist killed for example.
You probably agree that pretty much the whole Newcastle fan base are delighted with their new ownership and wouldn't be too keen on trading them for ENIC.
So are you saying the 50+ thousand who turn up at St James Park each week have no moral boundaries?

And would you be disgusted and protest if we accepted a huge fee from Newcastle, City or some Saudi club for one of our players?

Of course you wouldn't, you fucking hypocrite?,. :roflmao:

And do you think Levy would refuse Saudi investment because of some moral stance against the regime's human rights record? Of course he wouldn't

Bringing a convicted paedophile like Gary fucking Glitter into the debate to try and justify your argument in favour of Levy / Lewis / ENIC!!!!!!

You're a disgrace to the forum, pal :disdain:

That's a long way of saying you'd welcome the murderers on record with open arms, interesting.

So my question about Gary Glitter still stands then, if you'll accepts murderers then you'd accept anyone you disgusting man.

Like you say, blow after blow after blow

Paratici scandal
Worst league finish in years
No manager lasting a full season for 5 years
Called out as losers by serial winner Conte
15th trophyless season on the bounce
Golden boy Daniel admitting responsibility for the Newcastle humiliation
Star player wants out to win trophies
Disgusting unjustified ticket price hike
No new desperately needed centre backs we've been lacking for years.

The list just goes on....

And now.....
Main man Joe Lewis indicted for serious financial corruption

And all this in the last couple of months!!!!!

And still they're holding on and putting up some sham defence of these billionaire specialists in failure without a sporting bone in their body and who treat our fans with utter contempt and disdain.

Fascinating
Let it go mate, we know ENIC have their flaws. The same posters have banged on about this for so long.

You keep posting the same old stuff determined to prove some sort of point.

We know full well you go to one game a season if that, so like mentioned before what do you aim to achieve? What was the post the other day? All Levy fans/ENIC fans don't go to the games, well that's a made up load of nonsense for one.

You continually critisise an owner who yes has been charged, but not yet proved guilty. Before you get on your high horse why don't you wait until all the facts have come out.

It's also been mentioned quite a few times that Tottenham will face no sanctions or investigations.

Problem with this day and age is, people like to jump on the bandwagon when any bit of news breaks in the 24/7 world without really thinking about things.

Also, did your Villa friend ever tell you the story of when one of their supporters threw a cabbage at their managers head in the Championship?

Hmm let’s see - the choices are by order of my personal order of preference:

(1) Morally upstanding owners who have ambition for the FC
(2) Morally upstanding owners with no ambition
(3) Morally bankrupt owners with ambition
(4) Morally bankrupt owners with no ambition

It was up to me (3) and (4) would not be allowed to own football clubs. But it’s not up to me - and in this reality (4) - ENIC is worse than (3). Simple.

Plus some Levybots were claiming that ENIC is asset rich but cash poor - but Lewis just plonked down a 300M bond - of course he could have gone to the wrong side of town and put up his wife’s jewelry as collateral for the bond but anyway …
Mmm let's see......not the point at all.

Is Tottenham Hotspur cursed? or Spursy?

Or is it one of English football's most storied clubs but the curse started around 23 years ago?

Maybe it's ENIC that are cursed?
As an example, I would actually say Derby County are a club that is cursed.

They had an owner (supporter) who was pumping money into the club, realised he couldn't sustain it and then pulled out.

They are now languishing in League 1.

Why do you follow the PL that let these scum in? Also why do we keep deflecting from what a cunt Joe is, does he have a free pass as long as he doesn’t murder? In any case teams in the PL bathe in the same pig shit (profit of each other), so if you’re looking to take the moral high ground you should walk away from the PL…

I'm not that clued in on financial insider trading, but i'd love to have had an early heads up on a certainty.

One certain tip is that our defensive situation is so Dier, that if it isn't drastically changed our new GK (with the name i can't yet pronounce) will be wishing he was still playing back in Italy, Spain or whichever league we bought him from.

PS is Scott Munn expected this month or next?

I don't believe I do follow the PL...I actually follow the team that plays in the PL, followed my team long before the PL was formed and virtually killed football and like me I suspect most of you are older than the PL so that's a bit of a silly point to make to tell me to walk away from something I don't actively support or vouch for, you may want to think that one through. :ledley:

And I think we can all agree that JL is a cunt, that doesn't mean we're not allowed to ask questions of other owners and their prospective ideals/beliefs, that isn't deflecting or whataboutism or any fancy word you want to cook up, it's merely a comparison and a fair one at that.

I'll tell you the truth, I'm actually unmoved about who comes into this club but I just find it funny that people are so frekin desperate to make an equivalence to what JL has done to other owners who are known to do far worse, people just want to cheat just like City and Chelsea have but don't want to admit it lol

You think the team would stay in the PL without investing those profits?
Obviously it depends on the scale of profits taken out. Obviously not every £ is the difference between PL survival and regulation. We could cheap out on the tea and detergent and pocket some profits. For what we've gotten out of him, Ndombele represents over £75M of reinvested profits that could have been taken out of the club with no tangible consequence compared to where we are now.

Another good example would be Charlton Athletic.

They were a good, solid mid table Premier League side. Good manager and good players.

The fans got impatient and wanted more..... now they are in League 1 hating everything about their club.

People only think we're cursed or some BS because those people judge us by the same standards as the top 6 despite not having anywhere near the same kind of rich histories or money as them so it seems like we are continually failing our own metrics as a club when the reality is very different. A lot of it is noise from social media to make it seem like we are constant failures however 87 out of the entire 92 teams in the English football pyramid would do their absolute best and swap places with us.
