Clive Allen was sold because he was constantly injured hardly played for 18 months, Crooks had already been loaned and wasnt wanted, Pleat didnt rate Roberts and thought he was a thug, Hoddle wanted to try something different and the club agreed to let him go out of goodwill. Waddle the only one there sold for the money because we were skint at the time. Pre Alan Sugar i dont remember many instances of selling our best players simply because we werent good enough or potless. Waddle, maybe Archibald but the club was fed up with his moaning. Jennings was Burkinshaws choice.
So what are the Levy boosters aruging with the rest of the forum about?
The non stop levy out comments and, let's be honest, overdone and no longer funny jokes inserted into every thread and conversation.

It's not my responsibilty go looking to show you something. Why don't the Levy boosters, if they don't want Levy in as you say, simply post ''I want that bald incompetent tool out''? Instead of arguing the point, after all this is the Levy thread, so the ball is in your court, let's see it.
I've sais numerous times I would rather a more competent chairman who hires footballing people to manage the football.
I'm not sure what point you think I'm arguing other than
1) no one is arguing for levy in. No one. And unless you can find me someone who is you're just creating division because of some weird delusion or need to be anti something or other.
2) the non stop levy out comments ruins discussions about everything else.
It's becoming an OCD tick for a lot of people, every post has to mention Levy....
So you think I'm creating division by trying to get you to stop arguing with the Levy out brigade.
If you're that annoyed seeing posts about Levy out, then simply stop replying to them, can't you see that your own behaviour is contributing to the ongoing debate and making what you're complaining about even worse?
It just detracts from the point that is actually trying to be made, in my opinion, which, by the way, we all get but many many many care about less and less because of it being rammed down our throats all day.
