Bought a new spurs jacket just because you posted this.

Had someone I rate as a poster said it, I’d have agreed.

😊
Does the Saying, "Cut your nose to spite your face", ring a Bell? Buy one for The whole family if you wish. Its your money, Makes no difference to me. I've achieved what I wanted. You actually, in your own weird way, have proven me right. Thank You for the acknowledgement.

You will never be right, big man

Despite what Thomas thinks I have never been pro Levy but also not anti but neutral. I really think the anti Levy contingent should keep to the main issues and not criticise him for everything such as ticket prices or the price of beer. However the selling of Kane has pushed me to the anti Levy stance. I have posted many times it is financeover football and all the so called experts in the media are predicticting at best we will get 8th this season without Kane. I find it difficult to argue against that, this has set us back 20 years to when we regularly ended up mid table.
We are starting the season with no fit new CB’s and no replacement for Kane. We have bought a new CB but not early enough and may still get a good replacement goal scorer but I will not hold my breath on that and it will be late and we will be playing catch up.
I cannot understand the optimism in the Brentford thread and quite frankly I have no enthusiasm for watching the match as I expect a loss.
I excused Levy whilst building the new stadium but not now. Now Levy spend that money on a new goal scorer as I have little confidence in the existing strikers to score enough goals.
With Paratici gone and not replaced we have Levy back involved in transfers which is a disaster.
Just sell up As we are going backwards.

Who's Thomas?

Good post, btw

Im sure the manager and players are SHOCKED that Kane was sold. Nobody saw this coming - we’ve been blindsided!

I am not going to make this a prolonged argument because I know no matter what I say, it isn't going to change your perspective on this matter.

But first of all, I said left them in limbo, as in, unprepared for the future, Kane is gone and now we have to try and salvage the season before it has even started because you know, losing a guaranteed 25+ goals from a team is a pretty big deal imo, especially two days before the first game of the season when he has been in the plans for every preseason game.

Also, I can't imagine the players were for sure ITK in regards to if Kane was going or not, he may have hinted he was considering it if the offer came in like he did with Ange but that's not exactly a sure fire guarantee is it?

Even Ange said "It looks for sure like it's happening now though" in his press conference and whilst he did say he thought Kane had pretty much made his mind up after their first conversation, his language above shows he still wasn't 100% sure before today.

Remember all that crap about the stadium being a game changer for us. How being in the CL would allow us to sign the best players. It would allow us to compete at the top table. What a load of bollocks.
Well here we are, we’re selling one of the best ever players to wear our shirt.
I know we’ve sold quality players in the past but fuck me, this one really hurts bad.
I never believed that shit, it was just people making excuses when we got knocked out of cup competitions.

Tbf. I think anyone that understood Levy, and again tbf, football. Knew Kane was gone.

It was a matter of timing.

We have to accept that Harry, when he did his line in the sand, with yesterdays deadline, forced the bald twat to act and did his last massive service to the club and fans.

Twat knew kane would stay and honour his contract if Teflon didn't act. Harry doesn't lie. And it would cost the club 80 odd million.

Bald hoped to get kane to stay till the end of August. Hope to get an extra 4m. For why I don't know. Well I do. It's incompetence and being yesterday's, yesterday's man in football.

He thought get 4 more games out of him and then cash in. But that wouldn't have helped us.

His departure hasn't helped us much either but we have the money and the chance to move on earlier. But idiot should have known this was the end game. Told bayern the price do the deal and let ange get on with it at least 3 weeks ago. Or at least when we touched back from Oz.

We are left with drama and a shit start to a season again.

He does this every year.

Stabbed Poch in the back.

Sold Kane after years of false promises.

And if you think for a second if by some miracle Ange is the real deal, we wont fuck that up too, you’re not in reality.

Theres a sickness at this club.

Don't disagree. I want to see a change at the top but I don't see how 2 dozen protestors outside the west stand and not buying Spurs flavoured hobnobs from the shop will send Levy packing.

Ultimately we got to a CL final and were 90 minutes from eternal glory over and above those pricks down the road under ENIC. Maybe that's the best it will ever get.

Levy is addicted to this. We're stuck with him.

I was chanting him to get out as loudly as anyone vs Brentford. I dare say United game will be the same.

Right, I’ve nothing against people demonstrating in the method they see fit (within reason), but do you honestly think chanting Levy Out will move the dial towards new owners?

Wouldn’t it be better, first home game of the season, to expend that singing energy in a positive way to support the players? At least give this new dawn we’ve got a chance?
