Right, I’ve nothing against people demonstrating in the method they see fit (within reason), but do you honestly think chanting Levy Out will move the dial towards new owners?

Wouldn’t it be better, first home game of the season, to expend that singing energy in a positive way to support the players? At least give this new dawn we’ve got a chance?
In a vacuum free of context, sure sing to cheer the team on.

Reality is fans are furious we have sold our best player the day the season started and are 22 years sick of this shit.

People want to vent and that's what will happen.

Fair enough. I’m not happy with what’s happening either, just hoping we see and hear positivity instead of anger. Maybe a good win in match one will see things change a bit.

Positive about the head coach but angry and hopeless about a Chairman that has and will undermine the coach as he has done 20xx - 2023.

This is Ange's big chance so he will put up with more of Levy's bullshit priorities for longer than say Conte. If we can do something in the meantime, great.

Deen still can't accept Levy is the reason we are spiralling.

Its hit him hard.

Bless.

Levy is fucking useless at running a football club that pleases the fans. Levy and Colecott do not care about the fans. The fact is I have it on good authority that during 2005-06 they openly used to joke about how stupid the Spurs Fans are in front of the Spurs Staff. They think they are better than us.

The fact is they are not. Under there stewardship we may have lucked out with a few things going right for them but at the end of the day they have been the anchor that has always stopped us from being even better.

The fact it may be almost 20 years ago now, Carrick asked Levy to raise in his wages to 35k a week from 12k because he was playing well. Mr Levy laughed and said why would he do that. Then when Utd came in for him we had next to no leverage. This is how Levy has always acted penny wise but pound foolish.

First post in many months

I just wanted to say that Levy is a stupid bald cunt and ENIC are the most incompetent owners in the history of world football

Imagine waiting until a couple days before the season starts to get rid of your star striker and sabotaging the manager/team just for a few extra million

Any owner that remotely cared about the team and the team's success would have sorted this shit out AT LEAST a few weeks in advance

I can't even describe how useless these pieces of shit are

You will never be right, big man
To some I won't, to others I will. Its cool like that. I started the Levy out campaign +-4 years ago, when Poch said this, "

"I am not in charge, I know nothing about the situation of my players. I am only coaching them, trying to get the best from them."

'Mauricio Pochettino says his job title should be changed from manager to head coach as he has no influence over Tottenham's transfer activity'.

The movement is growing, so I believe I'm right to more people today than back then.

Someday you'll come around.

Despite what Thomas thinks I have never been pro Levy but also not anti but neutral. I really think the anti Levy contingent should keep to the main issues and not criticise him for everything such as ticket prices or the price of beer. However the selling of Kane has pushed me to the anti Levy stance. I have posted many times it is financeover football and all the so called experts in the media are predicticting at best we will get 8th this season without Kane. I find it difficult to argue against that, this has set us back 20 years to when we regularly ended up mid table.
We are starting the season with no fit new CB’s and no replacement for Kane. We have bought a new CB but not early enough and may still get a good replacement goal scorer but I will not hold my breath on that and it will be late and we will be playing catch up.
I cannot understand the optimism in the Brentford thread and quite frankly I have no enthusiasm for watching the match as I expect a loss.
I excused Levy whilst building the new stadium but not now. Now Levy spend that money on a new goal scorer as I have little confidence in the existing strikers to score enough goals.
With Paratici gone and not replaced we have Levy back involved in transfers which is a disaster.
Just sell up As we are going backwards.
Good post. Just one correction, Paratici isn't gone, he is still a Spurs consultant. He now gets to help Levy organise Shitty Transfers from the luxury of his Home.

Don't disagree. I want to see a change at the top but I don't see how 2 dozen protestors outside the west stand and not buying Spurs flavoured hobnobs from the shop will send Levy packing.

Ultimately we got to a CL final and were 90 minutes from eternal glory over and above those pricks down the road under ENIC. Maybe that's the best it will ever get.

Levy is addicted to this. We're stuck with him.

I was chanting him to get out as loudly as anyone vs Brentford. I dare say United game will be the same.
Join them, then it may make it 2 dozen plus 1. That may make a difference. If enough people add to the protest 2 dozen can quickly become 62000 (stadium capacity). I left 850 seats for a few morons, like some in this forum, that believe Levy is right.

I don't understand why people keep saying AberdeenYid AberdeenYid is Levy in though, every interaction I have had with him has seemed balanced tbh.

I don't normally jump to the defense of anybody but all I have ever seen him say is that he wanted to wait until this window closes before he makes a final judgement on these owners.
I think him approving levy getting a pay rise after that shambles of a season which lead to 3 managers in a month. Why would anyone approve of levy getting a pay rise based on last seasons performance unless they were a fan of his. It’s clearly illogical so can only be trolling or they are a fan of his.

Two things:

1) yes, it would be better to support the players and the crowd will first and foremost. The Levy out chants will start at some point, but I don’t think that will negatively impact the players as the crowd are behind the players too

2) correct, it won’t see them sell but it could make Levy think twice about his current role and stand down, employ a capable CEO and sit in the wings like Lewis, retired and distanced from the day to day operations.

Could also help expedite a sale but until there’s a realistic offer, no-one can influence that. Honestly think if the echo chamber dwelling little bastard finally understands that the majority of fans hate him, and want gone it can force a change. He currently has an exec team stroking his ego and brushing this under the carpet and saying what a good job he’s doing and how it’s the managers fault we aren’t winning, but if we go full attack mode it will be evident that he’s not liked or wanted
