You’re much more hilarious if you take it seriously.

I hate them. They’ve delivered us 1 piece of league cup shaped silverware. Sometimes they do ok and we have periods of being good. And we still win nothing. And then we follow it up with being crap and still .. winning nothing .

Of course they’re not actually to blame for every loss but I’ll be damned if I’m missing a chance to stick the boot in.

And it’s jelly & ice cream when the time comes for that crook Lewis. Always.

This is what i don't understand.

Hate is just such a strong emotion. I hate Woolwich, Chelsea, City, definitely Liverpool and West Ham too.

People are understandably mad at them for not pushing on when necessary in the past and for fucking up the last few years in terms of managerial appointments, but it just feel so salty to hate them so much cos we haven't won enough. For the first 10 years of their stewardship, we weren't even close to knocking on the doors of the top teams in the league and since then we have seen some of the best footie in the prem played by teams they put together, we have been able to watch numerous world-class player grace out pitch, both our own and those from the top clubs in Europe .

I understand some of it is pantomime but surely you can see the perspective of how the hard-core haters just come off as weird.

If hate is too strong then I can try ‘loathe’ or ‘actively despise’ I guess.

The #LevyOut twitter crowd are very quiet too, as are The Trust and their protests about ticket prices (which I support) - they never even bothered at the last home game.

The ENIC out sentiment isn't that deep, it's just a load of angry teenagers on the internet fed up of the ribbing their getting from rival fans on social media about lack of trophies. ENIC/Levy out is just a meme these days and a way to express anger at the club, people love to say it so much that the words are now meaningless.

Places like here and Twitter or any social media I take with a huge pinch of salt because most people are internet gangstas or keyboard warriors, they say one thing and don't actually mean it and in this case ENIC out is purely a meme these days anyway which has a load of different meaning based on how people feel at the time.
Been saying that for ages, it's a meme that gets throw around but doesn't really have a true meaning, people say it for different reasons based on how they feel.

And you can tell the exact same behavior on this forum hence why this thread is trending with tears mostly when we lose, not when we win or during TW time - there's just no consistency with the movement.

That’s a good thing.

The pressure from the fans comes when the team is dysfunctional and not winning or playing Spurs football.

If we are going to blame Levy when it’s going shit, we need to give some credit when it’s going well. Or at least give him some peace,

The trust going quiet on tickets is different. That really shouldn’t go quiet imo

As fair as it is to criticise them when they get it wrong - it only holds weight when they're praised for getting it right by the same people.
Without balance to the argument either way, it's not a stance that can be taken seriously.

Not seeing much of the ridiculous purple and gold branded clowns due to half a dozen decent games.
I have seen the logic in more decisions than not taken by Levy & the board, even when so much hasn't worked out - but the noticeable reduction in 'purple and gold hate' or 'Levy Out' chants due to 2 of their 270 odd months in charge makes the whole 'movement' seem petulant.

Cry for Levy Out when we are winning and playing well if the past 20 years is your case.
Otherwise you seem like social media hurt fantasists.

Nice to be able to watch football that doesn’t want me to spoon my eyes out but still want the Poundland politician out

While there’s a bit of feel good restored to club he has a fan meet with weak questions , just an opportunist parasite

"The Club says One Hotspur Members and Season Ticket Holders will be provided with one and five free tokens respectively and the arrangement then encourages fans to enter a cryptocurrency ecosystem of which many fans will have little knowledge but will be encouraged to purchase further tokens to ‘win’ things."

Crypto?

Yeah, that's shit.
