Well tbf Ange didn't come in with a remit of winning a title, people just starting talking about it because of the good start that we had. If we were in Europe right now, we'd be fucked, we don't have the squad to cope.

We need a squad. Today was proof of that.
This falls on one man, Who knows what we could have achieved this season with 2-3 more top quality players for this very situation.
Now we limp to January and hope to still be in the top 5 which is going to be an uphill battle from here with sides like Newcastle now finding league form.

The only silver lining with the current injuries is it may solidify the need for some spending in January. Levy may have been tempted to sit on his hands if we were ticking along and everything was fine.
A good January and summer window with a full complement of players who can execute Angeball. Challenging for honours this season is/was dependent on monumental luck with injuries and it seems like we ain't getting that.

It was our lack of depth at the back and massively heavy reliance on Maddison, who didn't play today.
I would have gone with youth myself.
