So you're not gonna call out your mate for such a disgusting post then? Of course not because it doesn't suit your agenda

Pretty sure you were the first to pipe up when that other guy posted a disabled person in this thread, you were all on your high horse then but no I guess wishing our chairman was involved in a Helicopter crash is acceptable to you isn't it.

Fucking hypocritical cockroach, absolute stain on this forum and this fanbase.
Yeah, course I will.

Zomb , I'm as Levy out as you or anyone mate. But wishing death or personal tragedy on the man is beyond the pale in my opinion.

My advice? Delete the post. But it's obviously your call.

A timely reminder why we've become a laughing stock that doesn't win anything on the pitch, but make lots of money off it.

I suppose that, levy was at least honest up front about his intentions for the club.
They were and still are, lacking in any sporting success on the field.
This hasn't changed in 23 years, and will never change.

So as I see it our plight is the fault of

Graham
Hoddle
Santini
Jol
AVB
Redknapp
Ramos
Sherwood
Mason
Jose
Conte
Nuno
Ange

Probably missing a few , it’s hard to keep track . We cannot afford to have all these useless people as managers . We really need a man at the top running the club for an extended period say 24 years minimum to provide stability . Right now there is nobody to blame for hiring and firing the above names, I wish there was

You could add Pleat to the list, he was 'caretaker'. for the year it took Levy to come up with Santini.

Mason deserves a place, as Levy thought he deserved to manage us in a cup final.

Stellini, maybe.

Mason Mk2 ?

So that's 17 and counting
With the latest mug on a 4 game losing streak

Patience is key though

Mate

Don't forget Chris Hughton. Before Mason he was the original "I've bungled yet another managerial appointment, can you take over temporarily while I look for the next sucker?" flunky.

Hopefully involved in a tragic helicopter disaster before then - with his fellow criminal Lewis the tortoise faced thief
Well it worked for Chelsea eh?
They won the lot after Matthew Harding died...

Kinda went the other way for Leicester after theirs though, didn't it...?

Is that what you were 'hoping for'?

Mind you, I remember the when Ken Bates was about to sell Stamford Bridge for £1 or summit, and they were on the brink of completely going under...

Then Roman came in and saved the day...
It's all Swings & Rotorblades I guess!!

Still a bit of a cunty thing to say though! Fatal or not fatal!

Call me naive, but I STILL don't get why someone who wants to create a global, entertainment and sporting empire WOULDN'T want a successful, winning team at the heart of that?

Investing in Hotels, Go Karts Rick concerts is only gonna get you SO far without a winning team at the core of it... so why would you deliberately set out a model that involved a team that under achieve and don't win ANYTHING!
It simply doesn't make sense?

...and when you think about the amount Levy/ENIC have spent on ALL those managers, buying lesser players on their recommendations, them having to pay them off each time they're fired... wouldn't that ALL have amounted to a couple of World class, Marquee signings, and a top TOP Manager to coach them?

Levy and Lewis are many things, but they're not idiots!

They only have to take one look at the world's biggest football 'brands' and see the success that each has had to EARN that global status....

Real Madrid
Barca
Bayern
Liverpool
Man Utd
Juventus
AC Milan....

Surely success and even GREATER financial rewards go hand in hand??

I did some research, just to check I wasn't making a ridiculous point!

We're 16th, in case you can't be bothered trawling through the others!

Yep. No point in having a shit team and a lovely stadium. Itll hit levy in the pockets only way itll wake him up

I think they see the club as a useful vehicle for exploiting growth and maximising revenue from other sporting and non sporting events off our back.
A fine example being the words of Aiden Mulally, (Levy's head of business development) "Its an NFL stadium built primarily with NFL in mind. Spurs are just the anchor Tennants, but the goal is to land a NFL franchise in London"

Of course they need the club to be in the Premier League, and towards the upper end for commercial reasons, but they'll never invest what it really takes to actually win. They can afford to, but they don't need to.

So long as they reap the rewards from charging the highest ticket prices in Europe while lining their pockets from high profile concerts, NFL, boxing events etc. etc, and expanding their property empire in our name, they don't need to do anything different with regards to the football team.

Especially when you have a fan base full of the Shadyfixxes of this world.

You say 'hit him in the pockets'
...that would indicate LOSING money, which I don't think he wil.... this model clearly doesn't lose money....

I'm talking about achieving success, and trophies with a football team, which would surely bring in EVEN MORE money!!
Seeing as that's the only language he understands?

Successful club, happy fans, happy fans = spending more = Happy Daniel & Joe

But but but... I HATE the NFL, have absolutely zero interest in it...
The same as most Murricans have zero interest in Soccer Ball, let alone the North London Hotspurs!

I might have to find me a new club after all!

Phoenix Spurs anyone??

One important thing to remember (not that anyone has forgot) is that Levy/Enic are ALL about the money and nothing else. People go on about backing Ange in the summer and there maybe a little bit of money available but we need to remember it's about top 4 and nothing else.

If we got top 4 we'd get a certain amount of money but would we get drastically more if we finished 1st? not enough so that Levy would spend big to get us there, it's the reason why we never pushed on in the Poch era because they were chuffed we had regular CL income and they didn't see the need to spend more money beyond that.

But I thought the other day you were digging me out for not going to matches? In that case why would fans like me make a difference if I'm not affecting their bottom line?

The only fans who can make a difference are the ones who don't want the board in and have the ability to do something about it yet spend money in thr stadium and on merchandise.

But that won't change regardless, fans are little upset now because they're emotional beings but come the new season optimism will be rife again especially when the new kit is unveiled along with new players and repeat etc...

Which was exactly my point. Thanks for clarifying.
There's no need or pressure on ENIC to achieve any meaningful success.
And so the cycle of on pitch failure and off pitch profit and expansion continues.
