Rubbish ...easy game today Accrington Stanley could best them...Woolwich in a few weeks...so let's stop pretending it's a rivalry....2 wins away at Woolwich in 32 years is not a rivalry yeah ...its the equivalent of your big brother constantly winning on the nintendo then when u do scrape a win bashing you round the head with the controller...it hasn't been a rivalry since 1991 sugar and now levy has caused this #levyout
We are at home for this one.

You can't even enjoy a day where we win comfortably?

Whole bunch of fuck this.

I want to compete and win silverware but not with dirty money.
Might just remain as a minority stake - some form of change has to be good. 25 years is too long and we now need to kick on and press the accelerator. I would like to see a new CEO too as part of this and for Levy to retire and take a back seat. We need leadership and a clear change of strategy from the top to achieve… I’m fine if Lewis and Levy remain as majority owners

Yeah, you can fuck off.

Gooners, most cringe fanbase in football as well as one that forgives a rapist. Absolute scum.

Levy holding out for £651m

He should be looking for more than that. She’s backed by Middle East oil money and they’ve shit loads of cash. Feels like there’s too much smoke around this for it not to be true. Although the reporter, Alan Nixon, rarely gets anything on us right.

AMANDA STAVELEY is stepping up a bid to buy into Tottenham.

Sources say the former Newcastle co-owner is backed by “serious money” from the Middle East and wealthy individuals.

Staveley, 51, bought her shares in Newcastle in 2021 but left the Tyneside club in July.

Now she has put together a fresh funding team and hopes to take an initial stake in Spurs.

The group would then look to buy even more of the London club.

ENIC, majority owned by 87-year-old Joe Lewis’ family trust and involving chairman Daniel Levy, may be open to selling.

Tottenham are valued at £2.42billion by global media company Forbes.

And a deal for 25 per cent of the club could cost Staveley about £650m.

Spurs are open to investment and there would not even be a need for Staveley to dispose of her Newcastle shares first.

Her holding at St James’ Park is under the 9.9 per cent limit for having a stake in TWO clubs

I mean at £650 million, that's barely a season ticket and a couple of Neck Oils..

I wouldn't have said it was 25% of what Levy thinks the club is worth and barely scratches the surface of what we need to push on.

The cynic in me thinks it would just be the Lewis family and Levy taking a chunk of cash for nothing and no real change.

Usually I'd agree but on my way out I thought I'd have a peak at the hotel construction area that is fenced off. You can get a good look walking down the stairs and they havent broken ground at all. It is exactly like it was left back in May/April. So that would tell me that they are waiting for this investment before they begin that. Rather it will be used on other aspects of ENIC's business rather than in his family's actual pocket. Although I guess you could say they are the same thing!

You're borderline trolling mate, can you stop doing that, we don't do these sort of things in echo chambers, alright :davieshmm:

Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield weren't rivals you gooner knobend.

Tyson was already in decline when they fought.

Mike Tyson in his prime had no rivals.

Yes but tyson was scheduled to fight holyfield In 1991 in his prime (or not much past it) but it didn't happen due to the rape conviction...and besides the later fights are famous for ear biting and taking it to a UFC level!! at least he took a chunk out the guy...I wouldn't mind spurs only winning 2 games in 32 years if at least they broke tony Adams leg or something...you know show some f ing steel if your gonna lose make sure one of them gooners needs stitches not just giving them an easy game for 32 years!!
