Seriously, this is why Lewis gives him bonuses. Lewis doesn't give a fuck about the football, just the asset appreciation. Levy runs the club to generate profit to support itself while it appreciates, and Lewis gets free capital for collateral to fuel his yacht and build golf courses.
I do wonder what Spurs would look like without Lewis. Most think it'd be the same, I think it'd be mostly the same, but expect there would be noticeable change with a little more emphasis on football.

I have noticed that those defending Levy and ENIC often display similar traits to those who defend political leaders for terrible policy.
It's like party loyalty.
I think that is why passionate supporters of THFC will attempt to dig out those who attempt to promote or defend a failed ideology after 24 years of dismal under achievement.
The majority of football club supporters do not care about finanacial matters.
They want a winning team they can be proud of.
