I've laughed at these guys in the past because the protests were weak piss. But fair play to them, they mobilised a fair amount before the match, and it was loud.
I also used to laugh at the 20 odd blokes stood opposite the club shop, more because they wouldn't be there if we were winning or if the weather was shite.

This 'new' crowd behind CFT have really taken things to not just the next level, but more like 10 levels above. It's really really impressive.

Have a few friends in the media too it seems.

If I'm honest though I could have done without the jelly and ice cream stuff, but I think that was a few pissed up loons.
Was always going to be a few plonkers.

How did the sit in go? I have doubts about how well that would have worked as the stewards would have been well aware and no doubt told to stop fans from other sections coming back in from the concourse.
Looked decent from where I was looking. 👍🏻

Someone told me there was a tweet from the Qatari potential buyer, ( not the journalist dude) with 3 hearts and a link to the protest . I have not seen it , or seen it mentioned anywhere else so I presume it’s bollocks

ANY word on a new owner for this Team?!?!

At Least We Ain't man united.

At Least We Ain't THEM ...

we have propped up some distance from the bottom dregs .. for now.

Hoping Ange Now gets this Team on track from here on out....

COYS!!!!

If we win the next 2 games all protests will wither away. If we beat City again at ours the feel good factor will be strong.
Even if we won the next two and the top half teams all lost the next two we'd still be out of both domestic cups and in the wrong end of the table.

I can't believe the feel good factor would be "strong". The outrage might start relenting but I don't think those who have been tipped over the edge would find themselves suddenly thinking everything's a-ok

That would not be a good strategy for someone looking to invest in the club.

That’s the kind of move you expect from an itk virgin not a billionaire.

HMMMM ;)

I also don't believe freedom of speech gives you the right to say whatever you want whenever you want. It's about the givernement not being allowed to supress opinions and ideas but there are unquestionably legal limits and they also don't count at a private event where there is a binding legal contract by those putting on the event or even the group who oversee the event structure.

Freedom of speech is heavily restricted in Qatar.... would being owned by funders who go against your beliefs trouble you?
Would these same Qatari funders be allowed to invest their money in other infrastructure and businesses in the UK with impunity?

Spurs are currently owned by British, tax avoiding, insider traders.

I am deeply troubled by Britain's role in assisting and facilitating many illegal occupations, invasions and destruction of life and infrastructure throughout the Middle East and Ukraine.

Britain, as a 'democratic' country is in no position to take the moral high ground in any cultural or political dick swinging contests; in my honest opinion.

We are tripping over homeless and hopeless people in the street who have been given a death sentance by stealth due to the policies and ideologies followed since the 1970's.

Nobody appears to give a shit about that when allowing tax avoidance from big business, the wealthy and the greedy.

I was asking very specifically about freedom of speech - as you said it was a belief of yours.

You gave me a bit of a politician answer - which is fair - but I'm trying to gauge where you as an individual stands and how much your team winning at football matters when it comes to your political beliefs.

In an ideal world I would have a preference for all UK clubs to be supporter owned and I don't consider British owners to be morally superior to owners from any other culture.

I am against greed and corruption.

There’s a difference between a proxy of the state and a random businessman.

Random wealthy Qatari is fine. Not as cool as a lifelong spurs fan but quite different from an oligarch or nation owning the club

But not if it means you get to enjoy winning at football despite the premier league being one of the greediest most corrupt institutions in the country

I assume you do not watch the World Cup?
