We had Slot before a £15m fee came out for him and his coaches. I think this time we pay it though.
That was just the media pulling on the whole "Oh look, spurs being tight again" (how much of that is based on our religious links I don't know), but Slot himself said he wanted to manage in the CL so turned us down
He only said that afterwards when it become apparent we wouldn’t pay, Slot was gettable but he wanted his coaches and the fee escalated. When it collapsed he then said he wanted to stay. I believe even one of the board actually called him out on it as well so he lied. He also through shade at Trent for wanting to leave Liverpool to Madrid. For all the Slot’s nice guy image he has another side to him. £15m is a lot but he is a pretty elite coach.

When will our club be run by football people? I’ve just read the list of ins/outs and it’s a list of successful business folk, but I can’t see many with a pedigree in the beautiful game. Is it too much to ask?..

How about someone with 30 years experience in football administration, who has spent 24 years running a Premier League club, overseeing a transition from mid-table finish to breaking into and establishing Champions League football. In addition, managing the root and branch upheaval to state-of-the-art training facilities and a class-leading multifunctional stadium required to compete at that level.

I don't think it's for his own YouTube interview, SJ said it was filmed for a TV doc.
He's done interviews for Cambridge Union before, so I don't see why he wouldn't be doing it.
The problem we have is that Levy has built a 2 headed monster and the wrong head of the two is thriving . We are a football club first and foremost , but the football side of things is becoming a side-line to the corporate side of the club . It's fine Levy giving himself £4.5mil bonus if we're thriving in PL . But to focus all his energy into Hotels and the like whilst we are finishing 17th in the PL table is not on . No one would care if he paid himself £20mil bonus's if we were winning PL trophy , but we haven't . The football is becoming a bi-product of the commercial side of the club . There used to be a football club over there .
It is a confusing situation, though I wouldn't draw too expansive a conclusion from Lange and Frank both being Danish, not yet anyway.
Whereas the connectivity between Ange and Munn was much deeper and more obvious.
Two days running the Telegraph ( yeah I know ) has been pumping out how Lange & Frank used to share an office together.
The interview has already been done, I don't think it will ever see that light of day though now.
