These articles are all very well but surely even the deputy cricket correspondent of The Daily Telegraph should know that even though Levy is the focal point of anything about Spurs he is not the majority owner of the club the final desicion to sell may well not be his.

PS And if there was any serious intention to sell would Levy be appointing a new CEO who was also appointed on to the board of directors , unlike Munn who never got that far up the heirachy and a new manager , last couple of clubs to change owners like Newcastle and Everton immediately installed their own choice of managers.
I think Levy/ENIC are here for another season at least. 😭

It depends if the investors wanted primary day-to-day control. Levy is the MD of the club, with Vinai the CD, Caldecott effectively the FD I think ('accountant' on companies house). Charrington has come in just as 'Director'.

So, whether it be more investment from ENIC/Tavistock, or some Oligarch, if they just wanted to keep the club ticking over and didn't want to arrest control, they could have an outside influence without actually changing the structure too much.

Realistically, as much as people are hell bent on seeing what they want to, the club is very well run as a football club. The main area for improvement would be in terms of financial competitiveness and/or the way the footballing side is administrated in that sense. It isn't some Mike Ashley situation where we are haemorrhaging money due to being ran like a Sports Direct brand. One of the biggest selling points, despite how much people like to see it otherwise, is the fact the club is well run.

Just for the record I'm happy to remain in British (Bahamas) ownership, this century we have appeared in five league cup finals, a champions league final and a europa league final and achieved our highest league position since the sixties, not that shabby.

Levy 'IN' reaches the 50 milestone :contefists:🎉🥳🎉

TBF if we dig a bit deeper, it is in local ownership if you factor in Lewis being from North London.

As disgruntled as the vocal part of the fanbase are, there are a ton of clubs who'd take our accomplishments with enthusiasm. Whilst that doesn't mean everyone is satisfied, it actually buys a lot of credit to some but absolutely none to others

A period where we've been absolutely dominated by our two biggest, traditional rivals. Shocking that our own fans seem happy to accept such mediocrity.
We have the fanbase, the location and the potential to be so much better than these last 25 years.
Little wonder Gooners and Chavs chant Pro Daniel Levy songs.

When you say "absolutely dominated" by our rivals, one of them - the local ones - had the majority of that over 20 years ago now. Even Chelsea's "successful" period in the league is getting on for a decade old now.

The issue is that you see what has been accomplished as "mediocrity", but why don't you tell us how it would be any different? The days of buying success are not only long gone, but only one team can win the league. How would you expect us to compete with the funding of money laundering without being a filthy club ourselves?

We came astonishingly close in 2016/17, so the margins are paper thin between a major accomplishment and what he have achieved, yet people like you have the optics that we've done no better than West Ham

For every criticism thrown at him for not winning a trophy recently all credit must surely go to him for our recent win, right? I know our fanbase is far too intelligent and level-headed not to agree on that.
