You really to love making yourself look stupid don't you, no harm...carry on - it's pretty funny for me.
Stupid? Is that the new correct?

I'll take it.

"And owners ENIC have also declared that the board has maintained its stance that the club is not for sale, following the departure of chairman Daniel Levy at the start of September."

Enic have done nothing to suggest they are selling the club. As I said before, they could have done it at any time. Instead they have been active in getting a completely new board in place with the aim for challenging for titles.

And I don't see anything changing for a few years yet.

Bless, do you.

See...

No need for it. You have no intentions of having an honest debate, do you. All you do is just find ways to insult people who don't agree with you.

You're just a vile, disgusting, sad little human being, that I honestly feel sorry for, seeing as this seems to be the only way you can debate and chat to people.

I am really not interested in wasting my time on the likes of you.

If you want to keep on being insulting and smarmy go for it. It only reflects on who you are as person and nothing else.

I have no intention of having a debate because I can't be arsed, carry on living in your delusional little world, I'll be here living in reality and for someone who has been desperately trying to 1 up me and has been pining for an argument since last week I find words hilariously ironic.

Now kindly fuck off.

Dear Supporter,

I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you following my recent appointment as Non-Executive Chairman of this great Football Club.

Many of you may have questions as to what my role entails and what it means in terms of how we run the Club moving forward.

Firstly, it’s important to point out that I am not entirely new to Spurs. I joined as a Non-Executive Director back in March and I have therefore already gained an understanding as to what this Club is all about.

Our Europa League victory in Bilbao demonstrated the impact of winning trophies and what it means to our fans both here and around the world. It’s something the Board and I want you all to experience on many more occasions.

I have had the pleasure of knowing the Lewis family for many years and can speak to how passionate Viv, Charlie and the family all are about seeing this Club truly reach its full potential.

I see my role as Non-Executive Chairman to be about empowering our teams at leadership level and throughout the organisation to deliver on our stated objective of long-term sporting success.

Over the last six months I have had the privilege of meeting the many talented people within our Club driving us forward every single day – both on and off the pitch. This includes our Head Coaches, Thomas and Martin, who have shared with me their drive to develop winning Men’s and Women’s teams. My focus is on providing them with all the necessary tools to create a winning culture, with the aim that this will translate to success on the pitch.

In Vinai, we have a CEO who is a fantastic leader and figurehead for our Club, and I will support him in delivering on our vision, developing talent within the organisation and ensuring supporters are at the heart of our decision-making.

In terms of you - our fans - I am extremely proud of the inclusivity of our Spurs family and how we as a Club engage with the various supporter groups that make up our rich, diverse, global fanbase. I am keen we listen to our fans and understand different perspectives from all sections of our support, and I look forward to meeting with our Fan Advisory Board for the first time in the coming months to learn more about what matters most to you.

I’ve attended various games and experienced the special atmosphere our fans create in the stadium first-hand, working with independent groups such as THFC Flags, who designed the incredible Tifo display we saw at last Tuesday’s Champions League game with Villarreal.

I look forward to sharing many more special occasions like these with you all in the years to come.

Peter

How to prove my point so eloquently and instantly.

Enjoy the rest of your day, and COYS! Lets spank Wolves this evening.

Shadydan Shadydan This really sounds like they are selling the club.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

I don't really understand why they would want to sell, they are already extremely wealthy.

Surely owning a football club, especially one as big as ours holds huge amount of weight in any other endeavours and not to mention the respect among their peers.

Football isn't going to suddenly start losing money, so that isn't a problem. football is centuries old in tradition and culture. with our facilities it just makes money, add in consistent on field success and the value just goes up.

Why would you do the hard part, add all the infrastructure and then walk away from the Glory.

No “COYS Peter” sign off.

Charrington Out!

As far as I’m aware they’ve grown their investment but haven’t drawn down any income in the form of dividends.

Who knows their true intention, but they currently have a large asset not providing a personal return, that if sold could set their family up for generations.

Whether or not the club as a whole is for sale, we can't take DJ Space Cadet seriously, and nor do the Lewis family, judging by the tone of their off-the-record media briefing.

If reports are to be believed, it appears that ENIC are up for someone taking a minority stake (10% or 15% maybe?), and this could be someone fitting the multisports profile. The Golden Possibility for all concerned might be an NFL investor who could work with Tavistock/ENIC/Spurs on buying a possible franchise that could have a base in London.

That would be many steps away, and folks here who know more about the gridiron business might be able to advise on how 'possible' this really is.

But it's also the case that a serious NFL-based investor could have their eye on EPL soccerball. With Spurs changing the wage levels and structure by means of short-term, sustainable operating losses, and aiming to punch their financial weight on the pitch, this could be a very good investment.

My sincere hope is that, whoever the investor, the price of a stake is valued not Levy old-style but instead more attractively (10% = e.g., £300m, 15% = £450m?), first; and, second, will involve a share issue, with the money coming in as a capital injection for the football club to invest. I guess the Lewis's would have to take a short term hit on paper from the dilution, but would gain significantly in the medium to long term. But people on here with expertise in this area might be able to advise.

I guess this kind of possibility – if it is at all plausible – might be taken into account in any discussion about whether the Lewis's are in it for the long(er) haul?

It’s not really been commented on, but I should imagine Levy will probably be looking for a way to offload his stake now he’s been unceremoniously dumped.

I would think he has other sources of income, but he instantly lost £6m per annum when he ‘stepped down’.

Yeah but im pretty sure they will already have generation wealth with their other assets.

And the value of Spurs won't drastically drop anytime soon
