One of the oddest 'myths' is that of "highest paid chairman" and "£6m per annum".

That information is freely published and publicly available, so very very easy to look up. It was £6m in 2016/17 because of delayed salary and bonuses - it wasn't his normal or regular wage.
The "highest paid director" was paid £3.73m in 2024, £3.58m in 2023, £3.26m in 2022, £2.7m in 2021. All of these are pretty much the same as Paul Barber paid himself at Brighton (£3.2m in 2024, £2.4m in 2023, £2.8m in 2022, roughly £2m in seasons prior).

Even at £6m he would on roughly half of what we were paying Ndombele

Daniel Levy was the best thing that ever happened to us and we pushed him away

There needs to be a whole lot of soul searching within the club

I'd give anything to see his beautiful shiny bald head perched in the upper west stand once more

Which is even less reason to be paid that much.

Let's not forget that Levy doesn't have "30% stake of the 4BN investment" - the wording is:

"Daniel Levy and certain members of his family are potential beneficiaries of discretionary trusts which ultimately own 29.88% of the share capital of ENIC Sports and Development Holdings Limited, a company incorporated in the Bahamas, which in turn owns 100% of ENIC Sports Inc".

The latter owns 86.58% of the club.

So it's a "potential" "discretionary" share in a company that owns 86.58% of the club that the family who tangibly own the shares in the club that say they don't want to liquidate. The trustees, who we would assume are the Lewis family, are the legal owners of the 29.88% until distribution.
The fact that he is a "potential beneficiary" means that he is part of a group of people eligible for the trust, but the 'discretionary' aspect means he has no guaranteed or automatic right of benefit.

When it comes to a potential £1bn 'trust', and seeing how he's been treated by the Lewis's recently, it's absolutely not guarantee he will see anything at all from that 'trust'.
 
When THFC are consistently losing and drawing at home to the likes of Wolves and Bournemouth I feel sad.

It's no disrespect to those teams, but it is a waste of resources from the club I'm a fan of.

How many chances have we squandered to go toe to toe with the likes of Liverpool and FSG since the CL final?

It's beyond the chairman, the manager, and the fans.

Therefore, after every ground we lose to Woolwich in the league I'm ENIC out.

What I will miss: The start of the Jol era, the start of the 'Arry era, and the start of the Poch era.

What I won't miss: Being promised to win the Premier League, selling our best players, scapegoating the managers, rinsing the fans.
