Criminal to not replace Madders this summer after doing his knee.
if they dont go heavy in jan, they need to be hounded out. our squad is a joke
vicario, danso, dogshit, dragusin, bentancur, davies, tel, johnson, richarlison. thats at least 9 players that regularly make match day squads that are not good enough, clear that shit out and get some proper footballers in. can probably put odobert in that too, but hes young and im hoping he will eventually get some man strength and could turn into something decent.
embarrassing lack of quality for a club thats meant to be a top 10 club in the world when it comes to revenue. wouldnt want them cunts on my team at 7 a side.
Didn’t you post his stats? Doesn’t seem a decent direct replacement at all

I’d add to the above that we should only be signing maybes after we have top talent covered in every positionHe's a replacement because he's a 10 same as Maddison, his stats this season means he's underperforming due to various reasons and IMO it's mainly down to the coach and his setup, that doesn't mean Madders wasn't replaced, he was.

Xavi was a panic buy and clearly without adequate due diligence,
IMHO it’s not down to coaching and setup, it’s down to lack of physical presence.
Picking up the ball and then promptly getting muscled off it in one on ones has little to do with coaching.

He’s spent most of his time on his arse.
Aye must be getting blown over by gusts of winds instead of getting in the box, get him on the weights!

Fair. I genuinely didn’t know he was supposed to be a 10 until it was pointed out.Well I mean Eze was the one they went for and that fucked up so Xavi was the next best thing.
I generally agree but in terms of no10's on the market Eze and MGW was the right ideas but the execution was just shit.
Other than that the other 10s on the market were a load of maybes if they were actually gettable, some weren't (like Paz)

He is weak and it’s not evident in our system with his skill set where the chances come from.
I never got Xg until I watched our last 3 games.
No reason for this thread to be active, other than discussing if they should sack the manager or not. This should be the most active thread on the board. Wake up people.
They’ve got about a year to prove they are different than Levy. If not, they need forcibly removed.
We are on year 8 of a consistent, continuous decline.
Rarely is ever just one thing causing problems. He definately needs to bulk up and like Wirtz he is coming from a weaker league in comparion where physicality isn't an issue, it tends to take some foreign players a while how to operate in this league.
But I think we just need to be fair and honest, the 'system' he playing in is uber shit, we create less chances than fucking Wolves, he's has less touches in the box than Brendon Aranson for God's sake...his stats and the teams stats are lining up with the eye test and what we're witnessing, if the ball is not getting to the forward areas enough how do you expect our forwards to have and influence on the match?
Hence why I can't take people seriously who say this isn't a coaching issue and putting it all back on the player (sorry Harrier) there is no way on earth that you can put these performances purely on the players and if you do it's just agenda driven nonsense.
