Now I know you're a troll

It's not fucking foosball. You have to move and if your team mate makes a mistake, you have to try and cover for them.
He did neither.
I'm surprised you are not blaming Chris or little H for the goal as well.
Eric did not make a mistake. The cocky bloke made 3.

It was all of them. A series of errors.
Simply "being in the right" place does not remove blame from a player.
That's the words of some one who knows very very little about football.

He never had the ball. Wtf are people watching? He’s practically fully on the ground, off balance and the ball is behind him when he touches it.
Exactly. Romero didnt 'lose' the ball. He tried to win the ball twice but never once had the ball under his control to lose it. But once 1 on 1 with Dier, Dier got tricked far too easily like a schoolboy and let him through on goal. Blaming Romero is just dumb. There should be football watching classes for some on here.

It was bad defending from all involved. Romero twice failed to clear an easy ball then fell over knocking it to Trossard and Dier wasn’t expecting it and got rinsed easily.

They should both have done better.

He has now passed Vertonghen in total number of appearances for Spurs. And will have surpassed Dawson and Sheringham by the end of the season.

What? No posts since Liverpool game?

Dier was absolutely rock-solid there.

Between Romero and Davies, he has really found his spot. Under Conte his performances have really-really improved. Even when we had our latest slump (Brighton and Brendford) - it was hardly defense that was to blame. I think generally from the start of March until today there has been 1 game where defending let us down - when we lost 2:3 to FC Ronaldo United. Apart from that performance, our defense (with Dier in heart of it) has been excellent.

But for some reason he does not get the praise he deserves...

He is kind of in a sweet spot that maximise his strengths. If he is going to be part of our ECL EPL winning team he needs to organise better at set pieces and be even more dominant in the air. I love the lad he is Spurs, but he will be challenged by a Skrinar Bremer De Vrij that's the level option Conte wants. Still not betting against Eric.

He is an average defender when supported by two more CBs. If our aim is to win anything, he shouldnt be in the back 3, but hes less of a problem right now than Davies who does need replacing first.

Yes have very good defenders is key but a good defensive partnership is even more important and the partnership cuti Davies and diet is becoming a very good foundation to build on with proper wing backs and one more solid CB we good have a even better defense.

He was actually very good (individually) in a woefully set-up Mourinho team. He was fit and on his toes, it's just under the dinosaur we were so fucking passive with a shite shape that it put our defence under siege most games no matter who the oppo was. This is why it was breached so often. But take a look back at him, the work he was doing he was good. Don't pick out the ONE case where he was beaten or whoever, what else does anyone expect when the entire team is coached not to want the ball and sit on the edge our own box for 90mins!!!

Under Conte however, we are so much better in how we are set up, there's a plan with what we do when in possession, how we play out and without the ball, we are aggressive in a midfield block and narrow and compact in a back 5, so everyone looks better. We have a proper manager now and it shows.
