Personally I would be happy with ten Hag. I would have been happier if we got him in a few weeks ago before we were linked to Poch or Conte. Now it is a 7/10 appointment instead of 8/10.

To the tune of "Get Back"...

Eric was a man who knew he was a yiddo
When he was in Amsterdam
Eric made the Ajax lose a semi-final
Cause he loves the Tottenham

TEN HAG!
TEN HAG!
Ten Hag he loves the Tottenham!

I think Ten Hag is a really exciting move (if, of course, there is anything to it)

He isnt your typical Ajax manager, is a bit more pragmatic than idealistic, worked abroad already and has a good knack for using youth and experienced players.

He made Tadic look top quality, even in Holland thats some achievement!

I really wish I had an opinion. I really don't know who he is so I'll leave the bullshit to everyone else. Whoever it is, it better be good and it better work for our sake.

I never said they did, both are completely different yet both are underwhelming, Hag has had some unreal academy players come threw and Ajax have spent alot of money to start winning the league again

If he comes in I don't see him lasting a long time
Which is why I see him as our perfect candidate.

Look we'd all love some top class manager to waltz in spend shitloads of money and win everything, reality states that's not going to happen. But if Ten Hag came in, spend two or three years developing young players and made then far better, making profits and putting us in a stronger financial footing as well as a stronger team, then what more could we ask? Parker is simply an ex-Tottenham player who has done a bit of management.

This whole Conte "Give him what he wants, he's a star bollocks got tiresome very quickly". Give any manager exactly what they want and you'll find they generally will succeed.

Perhaps we need to go back and rethink our standing as a club. We're not currently challengers for anything (unless we get an extremely favourable draw in a cup). So why think a big name manager alone will make a difference?

We're in a desperate rebuild stage, and hopefully Paratici will get the players in, and the new manager, be it Ten Hag or someone else will be able to develop a better team from the individual players.
