As the article says : If the discussions are successfully concluded, the European Premier League would effectively usurp UEFA's Champions League competition, which has been a mainstay of the continent's football calendar for decades.

This really would be a colossal shake up to the game.

Being reported by a few sources now that discussions are well underway to develop a new European Premier League which would run alongside the PL, effectively replacing the Champions League.

Our name is mentioned as being asked to consider joining.

Or do you think they would have both? The league ,as well a league. And the champs league revert back to a knock out cup tournament, and be their FA cup if you will?

This is what they were trying for with Project big picture, these people have no shame.

I don't think they realise that the Premier league is the biggest draw worldwide, nobody wants to watch a poxy European super league.
Not even United or Dipper fans judging by their forums.

the government needs to get involved and stop them ruining the game.
