Match Everton v Spurs April 3rd

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We scored after 68 mins when we had a man more.

I do not understand why we persisted with 3 CB's at the back - in effect making tyhe man extra a CB.

Surely that was the time to either put Sarr in to form a CM3 to replace Lenglet (yellow card after 64 mins) or bring Danjuma on as the more advanced of a CM3 (or CAM) whichever is preferred.

Leaving 3 at the back protected by 2 CM's s (who will often be outnumbered and over run) is so defensive and invites the opposition to go forward.

Why try to get back into a defensive position with 30 mins to go - its just nuts. And why we dropped points at Southampton, why do we not learn ?

Terrible stuff, deserved nothing from that game. Lloris should not have returned to the team, his kicking was atrocious. Romero the usual, some good stuff but lots of messy moments. Lenglet was decent apart from the yellow card and should have been left on, Sanchez is a lower division player at this stage. Midfield is what it is, the system is thankless and none of our midfielders are top level players. Kulusevski performances aren't good enough. Son abject. Can't wait for this season to be over, wish somebody would buy the club and purge the squad. D Levy does not understand the sport, and the trajectory of this team depends mostly on him. Not a comforting thought.

Just a sickening performance. No chance of top 4 now and tbh, don’t really care. 1 goal up, against 10 men, against bloody Everton. How we didn’t win that….. meh not worth the effort in saying anymore

Agree. I hate the system we play. Yielding possession in the midfield just invites pressure on to us and without better wing backs we cant get the ball to our forwards. It’s not working.
Why is it the entire world can see this apart from our management and coaching staff?

Whatever we think of the players the formation is being selected by Stellini and Levy's bum-boy Mason and both of them deserve as much blame as those on the pitch.

Something is rotten at the club , it starts at the top and it’s infected everything !
Watching tonight you just knew we would concede after going 1-0 up, the players just didn’t seem up for it , the subs as well , Sanchez and Lucas!
Honestly I’m not even angry or upset as it was so predictable, I have never felt so disconnected from the club!

Never realised how slow Kulusevski is -not sure I would make the loan permanent.

Don't worry he'll have another good game before the season is out and people will flock in to his thread to tell everyone who doesn't think he's the second coming that they know nothing about football.

He's not bad. Given space he can do stuff. But he's back to looking the exact player he did at Juve now he's been worked out & we're not flying, i.e slow, clunky & easily tackled.

Seems legit:

Well Levy, how's your interim manager working out? The safe choice to keep us in CL football? Did you like what you saw tonight?

We could have had a new manager coming in after the international break ready to go, but instead we're subjected to this :moursad:
