Playing like this, and we haven't even introduced Aurier into the starting XI...

Sissoko is a different player at CM. Dare I say, a player we can use? He's still a bit dim but there's something there.

Long as you have a DM for the positioning like Dier and a creative player like Eriksen then in a 3 man midfield Sissoko can be the water carrier, running up and down with the ball, making tackles, putting the work in.

Eriksen coming deeper to control the play seems to allow Sissoko to do his thing. Remember for France in the World Cup when Sissoko played well he was part of a 3 man midfield.

Well played the boys. Great first half. Not really given them a sniff. Take a bow Sissoko. Very impressive. A different option for certain. Very powerful & direct. Maybe, just maybe, he's turned the corner for Spurs.

Good first half, Sanchez playing in the middle of a back three looks to have pushed Toby up further, Davies has looked good and the way Sissoko and Eriksen are swapping positions is pretty good.

Look forward to Aurier & Llorente to come on
