Management Fabio Paratici

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

So Levy is effectively interfering in Paratici's role because as I said how many managers Paratici talks to are going to want to bring their own staff with them

By that definition every owner chairman interferes in the DOF/managers job.

Levy set up the parameters of what Paratici could do in a manager search and back room staff is part of that as we saw with Conte.

That is not what Castles is claiming happened, he is saying Levy went behind Patatici’s back. The back room staff issue was already known from the Conte deal.

Paratici ofcourse worked with Moratta...but its common knowledge, he was the one who did the leg work of scouting or meeting scouts, agents , players , made the deals. When Moratta was there, only final part of deal came to him-everything else Paraciti did.

Again, why should I listen to your version of things...when fact is everyone who understands & see SerieA , gives the credit to Paratici for successful period he had with Juve...

Don’t listen to me look at the results that Paratici had when Marotta left. Look at the results Marotta had without Paratici.

I am not expressing opinions just pointing out what happened.

We are talking about a manger search, do you think the two managerial hires by Paratici without Marotta were good hires? Would you say they worked out well for Juve?

1) When Moratta left, it doesnt mean, what Paratici did by giving heart & soul get erased. That record stays. You cant delete it

2) Juve built a stadium and have stadium debt. He navigated that phase well...one of the reasons he seems to be a good fit for us

3) The last 2-3 years is down to a single issue....Agnelli's insistence that Ronaldo was to be brought in.
Paratici made it happen. But, because of this one player, entire squad had to undergo compromises on getting free transfers ,even if it meant not a great deal for club...as Ronaldo doesnt come in to a normal team .He wants to be in a winning team.

4)Sarri was 100% Paratici man. But from day 1 he was destined to fail, as his appointment was in odds with Agnelli the chairman. When they lost in CL, Agnelli was the one took the call to sack him. And it was Agnelli who intervened again with Pavel Nedved to bring on Pirlo as coach. Pirlo was not Paratici signing. He just went along with the chairman call.
In a year, he has left them now.

Once again, I would say, its nonsense to judge him when he hasnt even visited us

Great another guy that needs a bunch of excuses to explain away his failures.

If he had a hard time with Agnelli stepping in that is not a good sign it will work with us.

Of course we can judge him based on his past and his fit with us, we (and every fanbase) does it all the time with players and managers it would be silly not to.

What are you talking about ???? What failures ???

Sarri won a Serie A title. So, its not like he was terrible. It was just that he was not the right fit.

You go on as if last 3 years a utter failure. Not the case at all.

If what you want to harp on about as failure includes winning the league....

Paratici knew when to step out. But he did have a 10 year of success and no amount of fancy words can take that away. Whether he will be able to work with Levy and be a success for us is to be seen

For that, we need to give him the time. Not moaning & whining based on what was said by a tabloid newspaper. If his failure is to win a league title, then so be it. I want that failure too.

I love these Italian sources because 90% of this shit is just made up but I have no idea what 10% is true.

Haha spot on. If he’s any good he will have learned from the difficult situations he encountered at Juve too and have learning to apply - and experiences he can cite to Levy. At the moment we have yes man Hitchen with absolutely fuck all to bring to the table and challenge Darth Levy

So the Sarri one year appointment was a successful hire?

I think we need to acknowledge that success for Juve is slightly different than success for here. If you think we hire a guy we have to fire after a year is going to result in a league title, I have some unfortunate news for you.

There is no moaning and whining there are facts about how he is a poor fit and at best a mediocre overall DOF. What we don't need is to bury our heads in the sand and pretend that it is great just because he is employed by Spurs. That kind of stupid blind homerism does nobody any good and is obnoxious as hell.

Here's the summary of what you have said on this topic :
You will ignore his 10 year of work...only look at the last year...a year where he actually at end mutually quit. 10 years of work which is fully acknowledged by Juve fans, players , media and the chairman, who in the end he was in odds with...Even a failure appoint in Sarri did win the league.

Every one makes mistakes. I dare you to find a DoF who doesnt make mistake. Even the great Monchi , who is well accepted & followed DoF made a huge mess in Roma by selling 230m & buying 200m of flops.

Its one thing to criticise a appointment after some time in job..Its altogether different to belittle and judge him when he actually hasnt yet fully taken the rule.

Anyway, I have said my thing - wont go on any more on this with you :)

That is not a summary of what I have said at all.

But good to hear that you are done on this the less crap posted by you is better for everyone.

Yeah but doesn’t Juve ‘success’ just stink of corruption anyway? That’s my main issue with hiring one of theirs. You’ve invited the football Mafia into a club that don’t have the network to pull it off. It’s impossible to grasp their finances paying all these insane wages whilst bringing in less money than us. I am viewing from afar obviously, but it all looks extremely suspect from my perspective. It’s like lauding Putin because he keeps ‘winning’. Not to mention the fact that we won’t do the big wages thing, or the paying off the league thing, so how does this dead parrot help?
