Well ENIC is an investment company with the sole purpose of increasing value of their investments and a 1 billion profit in 20 years is not bad is it. They can take that profit, leave the club with the stadium debt, happy days for Levy and Lewis. Mission accomplished.
The problem is they value the club at £2 Billion and no one but the absolutely super rich can afford the extra £800M. I think this is linked to us, Paratici knows Raiola & Mendes well and I think we have already been infected

I think we "were" infected, the disease that we caught came in the malignant form of Jose Mourinho. We have now cut this cancer and we are now in a period of remission.
There is always a time lag with our interest with 'X' and where and how this gets reported in the press, but my hope (it's by no means concrete proof yet) that we too are reluctant to deal with him is that Fonseca and Gatusso deals were squashed in part because they were either managed or under the guidance and influence of Mendes, a simplistic and hopeful view.
Mendes influence is spread worldwide, so it will be inevitable that a player you seek will be under his agency. It will also mean that a relationship with him will be important and one that Paratici will cultivate, it will be remise of him in his position not to do so. To have a cordial relationship doesn't mean you have to buy his players or take his managers.
Watching this very closely and this season with a new manager and the coming and goings of players should give further indication of whether we have exorcised the demon or are embarrassing him.

I agree and am concerned, seems a really ill thought out appointment, getting off to an awful start, before he's even technically started.
Rumours they also offered Levycunt more money if he does a live sacking and hires a blockbuster name like Jose

Pondering how much that Amazon bollocks affected Poch’s final few months? Things were so dire and almost how much screen time was given to his 3 months in charge, maybe a 5 minutes mention of Poch ?

I cant remember where i read it but apparently Poch asked for cameras to be installed on the training pitches and Levy said no. A couple of weeks later Levy told him about the Amazon cameras coming in for the next season. People wonder why Poch looked broken.
