I think he hired him knowing full well what he was all about. I am also not sure that Levy is nearly as upset by all this as we are.
TBH if that is true it's even worse, but knowing he is a hard negotiator is NOT the same as doing your due dilligence, so my point stands. This mess is of Levy's making as he can't make good hires for shit.
Yeah well it's crystal clear Levy doesn't give a fuck about the club or fans so not sure what that matters.

Chairman Daniel Levy explained the club’s decision to appoint the 48-year-old, citing his experience and success with Juventus.“I’ve known Fabio for a number of years and he brings with him a wealth of experience in scouting, youth and football operations,” Levy added. “He has an outstanding track record in assembling competitive squads.
As we all know, Juventus have been a highly successful club and he has been a major part of that. He will be a great addition to the management structure.

Not an impossible scenario, and (although I admit that it's well far fetched at the moment) I wouldn't be surprised if in the following months the unthinkable will happen: Levy resigning so that Lewis can give the fans the illusion that something will change
At this point the way things have been going anything is possible but I am not sure that Levy is going to sack a guy he clearly wants.

This gives me the vibes of that story where Levy admired Mourinho for years and we ended up hiring the past it version of him.
I think it is very much a case of looking at what someone did at another club and failing to understand what made them successful and whether that would work at our club.
Levy has no clue. He is a disaster. The fact that Paratici is so conservative in his thoughts when it comes to football shows that he should have never been given the role.
