In the early days he was ,and later attended games with Charlie(just been told this nugget).His support did wain for a while when he discovered he was rather popular with the ladies.

Charlie Watts is a Tottenham fan. The reason he is so grumpy at 'hanging around' in that "One Hit" documentary they did in 1986 was because he had to miss Ossie Ardiles' testimonial game to go to a video shoot
