Ferdinand & Ramsey

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'd say it's more than likely becuase they are sticking with Sherwood.

Don't like loosing Ramsey as he is widely acclaimed as one of the best coaches in the game, combine this with the loss of Inglethorpe to pool and I am not sure what tallent we have managing the development squads.

Is he? First I've heard of it.

Not sure why Ramsay is sticking to Sherwood so closely

Perhaps Ramsey and Sherwood had pretty good working relationship from when Sherwood was Technical Director of the youth set up? Maybe he got the taste for coaching 1st team football and wants to try his hand at being a number 2?

I am sad to see Ramsey go as he clearly played a big role in our development squad. He was also the person that failed AVB when he took his UEFA Pro Licence.

Ramsey had already stopped coaching the development squads anyway. He's been a first team coach since Sherwood was given the managerial job. That means somebody else already has his old job. Evidently Poch has decided not to keep him on for the first team.

In Poch we shall have to trust!

As unfortunate as it is, Ramsay leaving was inevitable from the moment he took over the first team with Sherwood.

Yeah I also sort of feel this is something a lot of people say but there seems to be little evidence to back it up other than hear-say and anecdote (and that he rejected AVB's coaching badge blah blah blah)

Seemed to rock the boat less than Les and Tim, which was nice. End of the day, the players weren't playing for AVB or Tim (or 'Arry at the end) so new coaching is perhaps needed.

It's hard to judge whether this is good or bad as I've no real idea what anyone does at Tottenham.

Given our strikers' pretty poor showing over the last few years, it does look as though we need to freshen up their coaching.

Also, much is made of our youth set-up but we don't seem to be producing many PL quality players. So, maybe this needs a rethink too.
