That was in 2018 when they finished outside CL and needed a rebuild. Look at em now? If only we had an owner with the billions and vision to invest to increase the value of their investment and create success on the pitch
Are you going to do it? would you like to see our club as a millionaire's toy? Isn't it better to stand or fall by our own efforts ... maybe you don't value honour over greed? only you can know that .....

A one off 250m investment (not continued pumping like Chelsea) is sustainable and would transform us - and see see our revenue grow and club value increase. It’s the perfect storm - if Lewis won’t lend then I would like to see us borrow

There is a balance between a billionaires toy and well run club. It’s not one or the other, somewhere down the middle is fine

Fair comment - I believe a naming rights deal is again on the table (just more gossip) - that would bring in the 250m, or indeed much more, that you mention.

There is no chance that ENIC (Joe or Daniel) put in 250m, simply not happening. As for more borrowing that would seem unlikely with the debt we have, however, it is certainly possible.

Where Swiss Ramble is outstanding is having all the clubs analysed in the same way and being able to compare a number of key stats.

We are the first club to report, so could be a few months before Swiss Ramble has enough data to do his magic. Sadly

I’m sure he’ll still put something out this week even if it is against clubs’ last years accounts or he’ll do a comparison of ours with previous years.

They've never put any money in. It shouldn't be news to anyone yet seems to be every year. It is why people want new owners, but it has been gone over a million times before in the ENIC threads (quite rightly). This is for a chat about the accounts, not for bashing the owners as we have enough threads on that.

Despite the majority of these owners pouring their cash into the club to be a lot less successful than us (in terms of regular league position/qualifying for champions league) so what does that mean? They are also the clubs with the highest wages to turnover ratio so the owners have to put the money in to keep the clubs afloat. Let's see if they have kept doing that over the last 12 months when their accounts come out. Should be revealing.

Seems us and Man U are the only clubs to report the 2021 accounts. When looking at the losses it really has to be combined with last years as well. This chart shows how bad it was for clubs in 19/20, add that to the last financial year and the losses could be huge for some.

Great news for clubs with money though as it means a lot of clubs may well have to sell players to balance the books.
