Where does this leave us and Ange? Serious questions have got to be asked of both when results like this happen. We have been poor for months, with fortunate results and moments of quality papering over the cracks.
Our midfield has been shocking today. Maddison has been an absolute passenger since his return from injury and our forwards might as well be sat on the bench. They’ve been absolutely pathetic.
Comprehensive overhaul of our attacking options needed in the summer if we’re to have any chance of doing anything meaningful next season.
