Bale came to Spurs last season with the sole intention to be fit and match ready for this tournament. He will not be coming back next season
Shame if not, but i still think he was diabolically mis-managed by the dinosaur cunt and if he had been used properly we could have made top 4 easily which puts a different context on the season.

Mourinho would have played Bale a lot more if he was fitter, why would he not play Bale on purpose. When Mourinho left Mason also used Bale sparingly because it was the player himself who insisted on not playing too many matches

Mason said "Gareth played the best part of 90 minutes at the weekend, the most he's played all season in the Premier League," he told Sky Sports ahead of the game.

"Gareth is an experienced man and he knows his body. We spoke and he felt it was best for him and his body not to start today. That's all there is"

Why defend Mourinho? By not picking Bale it cost us CL football, the chance of quality signings and Levy tens of millions . As for Mason he left Bale out of the cup final in favour of his mates and we managed 1 attempt on target as a result. Both were terrible appointments for Spurs
