How is he going in La Liga? Any chance of us getting some cash for him at some point?

Characteristically mediocre.....

He's under contract here until 2025. :pochcry:

At the time i was livid against Sheffield Utd when Fleck trampled all over his face, (officials ignored it as usual) but would definitely get pleasure out of seeing it now!
That says a great deal about you.

You would take pleasure in a player getting trampled all over his face, as he didn’t meet your expectations…

Pray you are never a boss, or carer (etc).

Him and Ndombele....Poch deserved the boot for that alone.

Sad thing is Lo celso was a loan at first so we still had the opportunity to pull out with minimal damage done but still deemed him good enough to buy.

He played really well under the first part of Jose’s tenure and I believe Jose wanted to keep him so we paid. It was only after the injury and return that he dropped form badly and started to not give a shit.

Ndombele was in the Champions League team of the season and deservedly so. We bought two players with great talent but cunt attitude, they could have made a success of it had they wanted too. They where not talentless duds they could have been doing what Bentancur and Hojbjerg are doing now but showed no motivation or care after we gave them a big money contract.

Forced to have surgery and will miss the world cup.

And to prove that he is even more of a psycho regarding the world cup.

Why would we criticise him for that? Isn't this literally what people complain about, taking wages from the club whilst prioritising Argentina, well this would negate that...

Don't see "Cuti" giving back his wages whilst he has his mystery problem that is to miraculously clear up the day after the Leeds game...

No shade on Gio from me. I just think that it is wild how dedicated the Argentines are towards this world cup. Including willing to risk their long term careers in Gio's case.

He's young. He'll have more chances at the world cup.

If the professional advice is to have surgery, chances are high that going to World Cup without surgery is that he will probably not be fit enough to play all Argentina's games and on return still need surgery (very possibly with a longer recovery time having worsened the injury by playing).

So the club save 2 months wages but Lo Celso recovery from surgery is all through January and maybe into Feb.

So net effect is Lo Celso misses a lot of matches for his club but plays for Argentina

Quelle Surprise.

Maybe so, but offering to forego the wages is still better than just taking the wages and fucking the club over anyway...

The craziest part is we never really needed him, already having Dele and Eriksen in the same position (CAM). Maybe he could be a CM in Spain, but never seemed to have the physicality to do it in the Prem. His career would probably would have been better off if he stayed at Betis instead of coming to us. And all we got in return were a few decent games and an albatross contract.

I somehow doubt Villareal will sign him long-term now with Emery having left.
