Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If we have quality players in other positions, even without Kane we'd be better than mid table.
Been saying this for years and this is exactly why I've wanted to move him and others for years now. Folks round these parts want to keep doing the same things and getting the same (or worsening) results. Painful rebuild in the works. Thanks Harry!!!!

No, i meant O'Hara.Maybe i have caught bad interviews with himas the few i have listened to,he came across anti spurs. He was good in this one though. So will take him off my blacklist :)

He was Team 'They must let him go' to begin with..... He's probably just changed his tune and begun rolling with popular opinon now.

I'd be interested in the longer-tenured fans' perspectives on whether this entire situation is just the curse of being Tottenham Hotspur and was entirely unavoidable no matter how anyone played the situation.

Having become a fan due primarily to Clint Dempsey's arrival and falling in love with the team at an exciting time in it's history, it seems what I read recently in an article which I will quote here is very true of the Tottenham club and supporter experience, at least in my relatively short time:

"Spurs are big enough to have developed the best English striker of his generation, too big to sell him as soon as he made a name for himself, too small to make sense as a permanent home for him, too big to know they’re too small, and too tragically medium-sized to get through the crisis without letting their star player alienate half their fan base."

Interested in if this makes sense to anyone else. If I'm in for some first post piss-taking I can handle it. Looking forward to the upcoming season from across the pond either way (though it's shaping up to be another.....interesting one).

Lol so when we're winning and Harry's scoring goals it's all a function of Harry's quality but when things go South, it's "lets blame his teammates?"
Nope nope nope. I NEVER said that. If we play well then it's the mostly whole team. If we are rubbish then usually that's mostly the while team.
There are occasions where the team is great and one player is poor. There are equally occasions when the team plays badly and we salvage a draw or a win thanks to an individual moment of magic.

Clear enough? Please don't misquote me.

That's called collusion and would open the whole league to a legal shitshow of it's own. You can't do that and no one should be applauding this. You cannot conspire to deny people their legal rights FFS.

fuck it, this is England right? Let's behead the fucker ****someone on this board, soon****
How would the clubs be conspiring to deny anyone of their legal rights and how is it collusion?

So what people are trying to say here is that truly world class players individually grab the game by the scruff of the neck and win it for their respective teams. Kane has NEVER done that in his career in a final, club or country. He's had many chances to do so but has failed every time. Those are just the facts.

If City could give him an ambassador role like Neymar and fund it then I would like to see it too...just so Levy could have the tables turned on him. The onus would be on us to prove tapping up and Harry's brother could just say he'd approached City first. We wouldn't be in a strong position.

but again, this deal has been done/been in the works for some time. There's no way he hasn't expressed his desires to Levy before May...just like Eriksen did almost 2 years before he left. Levy is just a coward and is making the players look like the bad guys for his incompetence. But in his defense most supporters are playing their roles and doing as they are 'told'.
What a fucking wank thing to say. Full boat on Harry's contract is around £31M.

Imagine saying you'd like to see your club lose one of their greatest goal scorers in history for the Lamela fee, just to rub one in the chairman's face?!

People said that sure. I DIDNT. So please don't misquote me. I merely made the point that someone said Harry was shit in 4 finals and I clarified that they all were shit. How is that me saying Harry should grab it by the scruff etc?
Pleased to discuss points I actually made.

Kane stayed with Tottenham throughout the years because we had a great talented squad and he knew he had chances to win trophies on any level.

It's becoming apparent that it wasn't due to loyalty to the club. His true colors have been revealed - he's just a selfish cunt.

Now that he's failed over and over again, for club and country, he realizes he just needs to go buy trophies with a stacked team like City.

Isn't this the can of worms that always gets you in trouble round these parts? Fair to say it might land a bit more softly now though.

This was reportedly in Dier's instagram story.
Saw dier three hours ago in primrose hill. Nice chap, was happy for a selfie. Kicking myself I didn’t ask about kane.
