Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Can only score against the defence he’s facing with the right service… you put it on a plate against anyone and he’ll convert it… at least this proves he hasn’t lost his touch

Ignoring the virgin Woolwich fan here the a moment, 6 in 9 now for Kane this season. Not bad at all, all things considered, with his best obviously still yet to come once the team improves. Lewandowski has been stat padding his whole career in the Polish and German leagues to an extent, but fair fucks to him, if it was that easy then all strikers would have ridiculous records.
He's stat padding against Bundesliga, not Tacos and Lucas Moura

HAHAHAHAHAHA

Give him the service, he'll score goals. :kaneshh:

I do hope today's match pushes Kane to trust his teammates more, less of that coming deep to play as a 8/10 stuff, stay centrale and near the box. He made it look easy, but no else in the squad is making those runs and finishing all three of the chances he had today.

I'm getting the feeling KaneDomBadBoy KaneDomBadBoy doesn't rate Kane.
He's a decent striker albeit a limited and overrated one.

Over the last three seasons, our record/results are meaningfully better when Kane is out of the line-up.

Of course, given he's a flat track bully, he'll perform against lesser opposition but overall, we're better off without him and our results/record has shown that to be the case over the last 3 seasons.

The last time I checked (which admittedly, was a while ago) we had a lower PPG without Kane, and a higher loss rate in the league. As well as scoring less per game. Either way the sample size is too small without Kane, and there's no way you can reliably state we are better without him based on a handful of matches.

And he's a flat track bully who has scored against every team in the Premier League, and has one of the best goal to game ratios of any player in CL history. So all in all not too shabby.

Limited I can get on board with .. to an extent. He's a player who requires service as he lacks explosive acceleration, athleticism or dribbling ability, so can struggle to create his own goals aside from his elite shooting ability in and around the box. Getting space for those shots consistently is tricky as he isn't agile.

If the team is operating at a high enough level around him, he can be relied upon to score more goals than almost any striker in the world. But he needs that service in to him and without it he has a tendency to drop far too deep or be on the periphery of games.

The way you talk about him though, you'd think he was a Janssen who could score tap ins. It's over the top.

None of this shows we're better without Kane. We've had some very impressive results with Kane in the team as well. For example, on the list you included the win vs Dortmund, but Kane started the second leg in Germany, scored and we won. He's also been a key part in wins vs United, Man City, and going back further scored goals vs Juventus, Barcelona, and was superb against Real Madrid.

All that shows is we can still be a competent side without Kane, and that Son is damn good when he leads the line. Which I don't disagree with at all. There are strengths & weaknesses to having Kane in the side for sure, but he's not a liability, and over the course of the season we wouldn't be better off without him if not adequately replaced.

He isn't the world conquering, De Bruyne & Lewa hybrid he was rated as for a while, but he is better than whatever you have him penned as. And you can't just write off every goal he scores against a side outside the top 6 as 'flat track bullying' when a majority of every fowards goals, including Son's, will be scored against these kind of sides.

Because you're an absolute tosser. I shouldn't allow myself to get so wound up by an obvious troll that's on a wind up. A Woolwich fan. But fuck it. Prick.
Wow, that’s not nice. Stick to football, not personal attack please. Many thanks.

Woolwich fan because I don’t rate Kane as highly as the fanboys lol? I rate Son and Hugo as top class players, and PEH as a solid player.

I also rate Kane but as a flat track bully

Btw how many times have you put me on ignore then unignored me? LOL
