I think he'll look better playing off another striker rather than being the reference point that Conte wants him as now. His legs look gone. Sheringham had zero pace and played for years but always had another striker alongside him he could play off. Kane would be able to do that.
Unfortunately very few top teams or managers want to play with 2 strikers now. Conte actually did it with Lukaku and Martinez in his 352 at Inter, i wonder if he gets another striker that will be the plan.

I thought he was poor overall today lost it a lot however he still got his goal which he did really well on because he still has the desire that kane now lacks.

Kane will get crapped on because he didn't score and Son and Moura did but he was very good today and showed signs of the old Kane that we haven't really seen that much of this season.
Son probably slightly better and Moura will get credit for the quality of his goal but for me overall Kane was arguably the best of the front 3 today.

That line is shit. Can't imagine Zest's got the legs anymore and would get done for pace consistently. Plus his tekkers are shit.

(was a keeper, to show my tekkers! was scouted by Luton and MOTM in some counties level games at youth, but never tall enough, used to do diving county and trampolining, plus basketball at county, so had some chance, but golf was the one thing I could have been Pro at, my dad was heartbroken I showed sub-Ndombele interest in being that at 14).

Right, his shots were closer to the target today. So yeah, he looks closer to the 13.87% guy than the 4% guy of this season. Positive signs.

At 14 moved, my last pro shaped my swing had moved to a new area, the new Pro watched me on the nets, said "you swing the club like Nick Faldo", yep I thought, heard it numerous times (he was Masters around that time, maybe few years later), he continued "However, I teach my students how to swing like Ian Woosnam, so we're going to have to completely reconstruct your swing".
Never went back, never had another lesson, year before was having lessons from tour pro's and a famous commentator! Weird the shape life takes sometimes!
Personally I'm fine with keeping Kane as long both Kane and the club understand and accept that Kane will never be that player from 2015-17. Kane is no longer our best chance of scoring. He's physically declined to the point of no return and regularly gets bullied by average PL defenders.
My observations thus far is that Conte is understanding how to use Kane. He uses him just like any other player and does not give him preferential treatment where we forcefully play Harry Kane ball. There seems to be much more of a focus on the TEAM rather than just making Kane the focus of our play/attack. It's early but the signs are pointing upwards for the team.
If Kane plays within the team and does the small unglamerous/unselfish things are needed from him, even if it means he's scoring less goals, it will bode well for the rest of the team and our results will follow suit.

Bergwijn has a lot to prove to win me over currently but I haven't written him off.
When he was coming on at 3-0 I was hoping it would be for Kane, up top in the middle following on from Conte's comments this week about him being capable of playing that position.
I would have seen this as a rare but ideal opportunity to give Scarlett some Premier League minutes in place of Kane. Not that I'm questioning Conte.
