Yes they were. He hasn’t missed a big chance in the last 3 premier league games. Hence why you’re grasping at including the shot he had vs Watford.

Probably a couple vs Liverpool, maybe one against Norwich or Brentford? But nothing from the last 3 matches, which coincides with him looking sharper all round.

But hey, I’d expect you to grasp like this. I mean you thought he was physically done, right? Finished at the top level etc etc.

I think that miss was just a confidence thing. 8/10 times Kane buries that. I think he shoots from there as he is good at finishing from that position historically and he really doesn’t have the acceleration to run it in on goal.
trending in the right direction, hope it’s not just a coincidence because the transfer window is open again.

Every top striker in the world misses chances, big or small and misses open goals.
All that matters is getting into the correct positions to score and Harry has been doing that.
He has been getting the breaks recently and has scored 3 in his last 4 EPL games.
I'll be happy if he keeps that ratio up for the rest of the season.

Unless a striker wins the pen themselves, you cant really call it their goal. Still 2 in 4 isnt bad . Not a top strikers return, but an okay one.
 
Every striker misses big chances but if you look at the PLs top scorer list, the main pattern is that they have still scored goals that are more of less in line with big chances missed.

Even Son, having a relatively subdued season has missed 7 but scored 8
Salah has missed 12 but scored 16
Jota missed 8 but scored 10
Mane missed 10 but scored 8
Vardy missed 5 but scored 9
Antonio missed 5 but scored 8

Kane has missed double the amount he’s scored: 4 goals 8 big chances missed.

One goal more than Jarrod Bowen.

Not sure why people are saying his season started a few weeks ago, it didn’t, it started in August like everyone else’s.
He has not been injured, he has fuck all reason to be just warming up six months into the season.

And I’m supposed to praise him for getting into good positions to miss the goal.

Penalties get missed left, right and centre these days more than ever. Tottenham fans should be happy that one of our players has such a good record and is so precise from the spot 8 or 9 times out of 10.

I wouldn't expect sammyspurs to be because he's not a Tottenham fan.

Tottenham fans don’t celebrate Kane missing sitters because “he was there”

Tottenham fans would rather he had more goals as that would mean more points for Tottenham.

Others are happy with 7th as long as Kane is top scorer

Kane hasn't been all that good since the 11 game purple patch from last season.

You mentioned many times that you thought that Son has been in poor form this season, which I don't disagree.

But if you prorate Son's stats out over 35 games, which is the # of games Kane played last season, his numbers aren't materially different.

So even if you include the 11 game purple patch from last season, stats say Kane was just marginally better than what Son's been doing this year...

The only thing that matters is that in the last four games he has gotten into 15-20
good scoring positions and scored 3 of them
