Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He didn’t credit Kane at all for those performances.

No one can realistically deny that both city and Ajax outplayed us and we took our chances and snuck through twice on away goals. We were even lucky about the Aguero offside as he didn’t gain an advantage from it and it was poor defending.
And the group stage went down to the wire too, with the last couple of games being desperate and the ultimate one requiring a last gasp goal. Pretty sure that was a Kane cross to Moura against Barca, who were playing their B-team (IIRC) in another stroke of luck for Spurs. One you add up all the minor miracles that occurred for the club to reach the final, it's easy to see what I'm saying. (Thanks for saving me some time responding :p)

Then we are well and truly fucked because Levy’s incompetence will mean we will sign a load of new crap just like when we sold Bale.

He is going anyway. It’s either now with £100m to Real or next summer free to whoever in the prem. don’t think he would but think of Kane at Chelsea under Poch, that could in theory happen.

The main issue is we seem to have no plan. If we had a plan with a style manager and set of players to buy I could live with it but we are like Kane is the only plan.

Come off it Real would not be paying £100m for Kane. They are paying £130m apparently for Bellingham. There is a cap what they can spend in the La Liga. So is it worth accepting the £40-50m they would be willing to pay.

They will try and do it for 80-90m most likely.

People assume Kane doesn't want to go to Real because of the record or his young family but if Real knocks most players answer.

If I'm guessing, real are laying the groundwork to get him on a free next year.

If Kane goes to Madrid and plays like this for the next 5 seasons, he will go down as one of the greatest strikers to ever live.

He's not turning that down.

No one's gonna cough up 80-100 mil on a player that will be free in 12 months time

It's painfully clear that he'll see out the last year of his contract and walk next summer

One club will offer 80 mill now to avoid risking him being a free agent next summer and having more clubs competing for his signature. That club will be Man Utd, just like with Casemeiro they will be prepared to go big for Kane

Benzema has left Real. This might get interesting. Personally i would take £90m+ to sell to them. He isnt staying with us and he goes where his talent deserves. I know he wants that premier league record but he'd be certifiable to turn them down.
The premier league record pales in comparison to what his legacy would be if he joined Madrid.

Does anyone outside of England care about Shearer?

That'd be the wise choice.

Kane is a very good striker. Madrid have been used to exceptional players, used to the demands of playing for the biggest club in the world.

Contrast that with playing for us abd never really grabbing the biggest games by the scruff of the neck.

It might seem like a dream move but I don't see it as a marriage made in heaveen.

Of course if United remain keen it only adds to his value but also to his possible options

Were he 26, and 150 goals behind Shearer I think it would be an easy decision.
