Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Just playing devil's advocate here but what if Kane is on Jose's side in all this?

We have to assume Levy will talk to Kane about the split in the dressing room. What if Harry turns round and says that the players are the problem? That they're not doing what they are told?

What if, and this is a big one, he says he'll stay as long as Jose stays and is allowed to replace the sulkers?

EDIT: Alternatively of course he could turn round and tell Levy he won't sign another contract, knowing that most fans won't blame him for leaving now.
One of Kane's qualities in terms of mindset/ethics (whatever you want to call it) is loyalty. So it is not surprising that he is loyal to Jose by all accounts.

That's a lot of what ifs and maybes based on zero indication that is the truth.

I can't see anyway Kane says keep Jose or I am gone, it makes very little sense at all. But if that was the demand then I would say sell Kane. Can't have one person above the club. If his attitude is that, and again I doubt it is, then what is to stop him from coming in later and demanding something else or threatening to leave again.

To me that kind of attitude would show me he is already part way out the door anyways so I would look to move him now.
In fairness I don't think it would happen. Just chucking another scenario out there :)

Fair enough, I guess I am just a little tired of all the ifs and maybes and hypotheticals when it comes to Jose.

There is more than enough to go off on what he has done without trying to make up hypotheticals to keep him.

Dunno if sammyspurs sammyspurs has said this but I'll probably agree with whatever he said.

He was really bad yesterday.
First of all there was no pressing and he was very lethargic.
I feel like its either because
- He's geniunely tired
- He's being told not to press and reserve energy
- OR he just thought he would come off at 60 minutes and didn't expect to play 120 and that he wants to conserve energy for the Premier league game.

Even his shooting was piss poor yesterday. That one that the keeper saves. He has to score that. Its a decent save but honestly you don't miss those especially Kane.

He's not to blame for yesterday although he contributed to it. Had he scored we go through undeservedly. He's not really the problem at the club of course but he's not faultless. All the players are in this together.

You do not improve our chances of success next season by selling our best players. Kane is not the problem.
For sure. Carrick, Berbatov, Modric, Bale - we were worse off after selling every single one of these. Kane is irreplaceable. Fortunately he's under contract until 2024. Even if gets itchy feet this summer we should keep him. He's not the sort to down tools, and hopefully next season will bring better things for the team.

i dont get the impression he is on his side, hes lost the enthusiasm he had earlier in the year. unless hes just fed up of being around such shit footballers, the service he gets from the midfield is non existent, take last night for example..winks,dele,sissoko! what the hell is that going to provide for the players further up the pitch?

Some guy named Dan on ESPN FC was talking with shaka and others and said he heard about Kane to Man City deal.

Obviously these are just rumors and it's far too early, but I would hate to see that as a Spurs fan.

But I would love to see that as a football fan.
18 months ago, I would have thought Kane would have said no to a move to another PL team, however, now I think he would jump at the chance.

28 and no trophies, yet...

Well if Kane says that, then he gets to play for a shitty team the rest of his career.

If City can't get Haaland I can see them going all in for Kane. He's definitely not going to leave England, he's obsessed with getting the all time PL goal record.

Why would Kane be on Jose's side? He would be on his own side. He needs to win something and very very soonish.
