About ten years before my time - he was a pundit by the time I knew about him actually being a footballer.
I suspect that Greaves wouldn’t survive in the Prem in the same way Harry wouldn’t make it in the 60s. If I had to pick one, I think in a world without the obsessive coaching and athletics knowledge and sports sciences, there’s something to be admired about anyone that made it to the top of the pile by hard work, good fortune, good genes and good luck. So, for me, anyone who did all that back before they were identified snd coached from when they first toddled has to be the better player..?

Great player, tho - but there will be another as good - maybe even better. Bale, for me, in recent years, was objectively better as he transformed more games. I’d probably put a shout in for VdV being on a par in the deeper position, too. I think Kane may look better because of where we were when we couldn’t even buy a goal during the cold seasons after losing Keane, Berba etcetera.
Bale won more games because he was simply the ace in the pack but 1/2 seasons.
VDV was pure mustard but again limited period.
Berbatov the most skilful striker I have seen who played for us and Keane was more mercurial than Kane but not better.
For me the best player I've seen in the flesh for spurs, better than Modric and Bale
Let's be realistic, we need to do alot in the summer as it is, how would we replace him? Goals and assists wise it would be 2 unreal players yeah?
We aint going to let him go for £10mil, Levy with 3 years on his contract left having the most goals and assists in the Prem, would want a world record fee all paid in 1 chunk sum, no installments
I guarantee he will be here next season, he deserves better mind, but whatever you think of Levy he has been unlucky, yes he has made silly mistakes but everything he does is for the best interest of the club
