After last night, I'd argue we're more of a one man team than Aston Villa with Jack Grealish. I read a stat earlier that said he's been directly involved in 70% of goals in the PL, imagine where we would be without him......
70% less goals.

Have not read the article but if that is what it says I agree. You should never sell goal scorers let alone a player of Harry's work ethic Levy needs to do everything to keep him.
Interesting cuz those are the 2 players that I'd say played the best yesterday and the game against Newcastle too.SAF advice to a friend was get the best goalkeeper you can and the best CF. More than anything they are the hardest to get but what you should prioritise.
Those two players alone will win you points/matches over the course of a season.
And in a league campaign those points add up.

Don't forget the trademark Rosenthal effort of picking up the ball up on half way line. Rhino running past the oppos winger and full back then tripping over his own feet when he got to the corner flag*.Remember Dozzell running the midfield ? Like a pedigree. Or Stephen Clemence backed up by Big Colon Calderwood ? Brilliant days.
For those of us who remember that football actually existed before the premier leagueH needs one more to equal Ian Wright.

I love all the players you have mentioned I still think None can carry Kanes water. Look at where we have been competing with his goals as the spear. Way beyond where Bale VDV Berbatov had us.Yeh - I thought that after (insert hero).
Great player, tho - but there will be another as good - maybe even better. Bale, for me, in recent years, was objectively better as he transformed more games. I’d probably put a shout in for VdV being on a par in the deeper position, too. I think Kane may look better because of where we were when we couldn’t even buy a goal during the cold seasons after losing Keane, Berba etcetera.
The only good i can see of Harry being out for a while,is Sid Vicious getting game time(which he needs).
Though the way things are going,he'll still probably start on the bench...
I watched a short clip on YouTube about Mourinho’s relationship with Drogba. It is absolutely clear that Jose wants players that give their all at all times for the club and teammates. Passion.
Being honest, we only have a few of those types of players at Spurs. Kane and Lucas for sure. Maybe a couple of others. Don’t think that’s enough to win important trophies. The squad hasn’t had the right mentality to win.
I am not saying this to excuse Jose. I just think we have to be honest about the players we have.
I don’t remember Carr doing that, aside from him saying Newcastle were a bigger club than us I don’t have much memory of Carr at all. What happened ? Steroids ?I remember being alright for a couple of games and then Dazza being out for another 6 weeks or so.
Oh, and then when Carr mysteriously put on about 30kg of muscle one season?
Those were the days.
