Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Just think what they'll be saying when he goes to City and nets a record goal tally.

Note how some of them are already getting a hard on when they close their eyes and imagine Levy playing hardball on the price or quoting some ridiculous figure for a 27 year old with ankle issues, dragging ti out all summer until we're unable to find a decent replacement.

Net spend, Net spend!! :freundgoal:
You supporting City next season then?

Stick a prime Suarez up front with Kane and watch him net 50 goals a season

Or just a well balanced team around him. Truthfully if Kane leaves for another PL club I don't want to see him succeed.

Not because I am bitter but because I love Spurs and it negatively impacts us if he does well at another club in this league, no player is bigger than the club.

However, it is our owners and chairman that has caused this, make no mistake, they should be held accountable for the lack of ambition shown when it comes to refreshing this team and not continuing to improve it.

We have stagnated and it's down to their penny pinching and lack of focus where it matters, on the pitch.

I have lost all respect for Kane for doing this to the fans. We have been unable to go to games for a year and have been restricted from doing things for the last year and as things are starting to get back to normal he fucks over the fans who have supported the club and provided it with the revenue so he could become the player he is today. The fact is whoever he goes to it does not matter to me I hope him and that club fail. The fact is the distance between fans and players is a joke now. If a player like Kane can just shit on the fans for a few bits of tin which in the greater scheme of things do not mean anything then football is completely broken.

The fact of the matter is people may believe stopping the ESL was something important it wasn’t. The problem is we have a Champions League Final one team run by a bunch of human rights abusers and the other by a criminal. Both have ploughed hundreds millions of pounds into their teams for the same reason it has been worth it power wise Abrahmovic has had more access to the British government because of it and has been able to influence it on behalf of his buddy Putin, then their is Sheikh Mansour who’s country regularly execute people for being gay and women are treated as second class citizens. Abu Dhabi and the UAE have more access to the world media so their abhorrent beliefs go unreported and they can continue with the status quo in their country.

That's because I'm a through and through Spurs fan - my posts always support the club - as you rightly say you're just a bag of farts .... glory hunter who just like your farts here today gone tomorrow

Yeah, I am a glory hunter...LOL. 30+ years as a Spurs supporter but you know, definitely a glory hunter. Especially since ENIC have been in charge, loads of glory to hunt.

Your posts always support the fucking owners, the owners aren't the club, they are temporary custodians and they are doing a pitiful job where it matters, you know...on the FOOTBALL side of things because we are a FOOTBALL club

Your also doing a pitiful job so far of convincing anyone that you aren't a biased bootlicker.

Unless you know, you're willing to criticise the owners and Levy right now and admit they don't give a shit about the supporters or success on the pitch?

Everyone has the right to believe what they want about Kane, and no one has the right to criticize anyone else for their views.

My own view is that I have severed any emotional connection to him as I deem his actions as unnacceptable, specifically the timing of them and the use of a channel like Sky Sports to publicize his desire to leave. This coupled with it being clear he has let it be known to multiple sources of his desire to leave for the last year, and it only took missing out on CL qualification once to trigger that desire.

I have personally revoked his status as "one of our own" as his actions are not those of someone with deep feeling of affinity to the club, but rather one who sees the club as a vehicle for his ambition, a train he now wants to get off and board another instead.

I would like him to leave as soon as possible and for as much money as possible, preferably somewhere in the North. But I fear a scenario where Chelsea are the club who will come closest to meeting our demands and Kane won't think twice about joining them. I think it's going to be a very difficult few weeks.

We should now as a fanbase decide who to transfer the "one of our own" status to. In my opinion the two leading candidates are Oliver Skipp and Dane Scarlett. We should take our time in deciding this, given how the previous holder didn't ultimately do justice to it with his actions.

Oh grow up ffs.

Spurs come first. Always! Fed up of saying this to some of you Kane cucks
I swear half the people on here, if their wife of 17 years said she was leaving in search of bigger dicks, would kiss her sweetly on the forehead and send her on her merry way wish best wishes, resigned to never having a realistic chance of adequately replacing the quality of blow jobs and general housework she provided.

Christ on a bike....IF H goes (and he may do) it will be because it suits all the parties concerned. Fans feelings are never a consideration in these matters and long may it continue to be so.

Only thing I'm relatively confident about is there won't be the perennial histrionics from the player if he doesn't get the reported move. The timing of it is irksome but I (hope) don't believe we will see or hear any of the 'not in the right of mind to play' or 'going on strike' noises that surrounded the departure of Berba, Modric and Bale.

It hurts more with Harry because he's one of our own whilst in reality the sport is littered with many examples of players who are worshipped by their fanbase yet privately supported their bitter rivals when growing up.

I agree (and disagree) with a lot of the emotive responses from our fanbase but let us not forget the proverbial sword can often have two cutting edges. I also wish Harry the very best of success if he leaves......just not at our expense.

Tottenham are believed to have told Kane to stay at his boyhood club and be remembered like Francesco Totti, a reference to the Italy striker who spent his entire career at Roma. Kane won the Golden Boot at the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia but has been vocal about his desire to win team trophies.
After Daniel Levy coming out with his conversation with Ndombele I can totally believe that.

I have no issue with Kane leaving, and I bet it's as much a shame for us as it was for him that he couldn't bring a cup to his boyhood club. So close on so many occasions, but in the end the entire team are responsible for bottling it, not just Kane.

Levy on the other hand, hasn't backed the best manager we had in generations, and didn't back the best squad we had for generations. Looking at how Liverpool conducted their business and the rewards that it brought when they were on par with us a few seasons ago compared to their last two seasons shows how badly we missed out because of a lack of player investment.

Let us pray that someone like Rangnick comes in as a DOF because that's what we need beyond anything right now. Including a manager.

So looking like this is Harry’s last game at the Lane tonight . Such a shame it couldn’t be a full house to give him a great send off that he deserves . Be great for him to bag a few goals , to say goodbye in style .
Good luck Harry

Why is it whenever a top player decides to leave our club we immediately go into emotional attack mode rather than looking at the bigger picture as to why we seem to be a conveyor belt of top talent that always leaves us?

Right now it's Kane, then it will be Son, in a few years someone else.

What's the common denominator here?

Also, I couldn't give a fuck about Kane and his career if he leaves us, the second a player leaves the club I am done with them, same with managers, that goes without saying.

But all I am saying is, WHY do these top talents leave us?

There is one consistent reason and its lack of ambition.
And being fair, Sheringham left us when Sugar was there for the exact same reason.

There has been absolutely zero ambition to be the best for almost 30 years.

But your every second post demands trophies - how are you not a glory hunter? The glory is in the way the game is played, as a 30+ year Spurs fan you should have that written on your heart ...

I'm a 60+ year fan who's seen players, managers, owners come and go - who followed the club home and away for years when we didn't have a prayer of wining a trophy ... went to Anfield and watched us fail to win many of those 43 games in a row, was also there for Crooks's finest moment.

During all those years the fans were always behind the club, glory hunting was no-more than an early season day dream, it was never demanded ... but I guess times change, now it's all about me, me, me and win, win, win ... and all that gets you is failure and misery (just look at most of your posts)

Sure we all want to win stuff - but that's just part of being a fan, and not a very big part.
