Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He’s now linked with PSG and Utd - what a turnaround
I wonder how all these talks between Poch and Leonardo at PSG are going.

"Hey Leo, I need a new RB next season since Florenzi is only a loan".

"No problem. I'll get Aurier back!"

"Uhh, I kinda don't rate him after we worked at Spurs".

"Say no more. I'll get Trippier instead."

"Yeah... We don't talk anymore".

Kane leaves to City for a world record transfer fee , he ends up being a bit of a flop though and falls out with Pep when he doesnt square it to Sterling in the Champions league deciding group game and they end up winning fuck all and finishing 7th! Meanwhile after signing Harry Kane-Peters and using the remaining money from Kanes transfer on Gene therapy for Bale, Masons mates end up winning the Premier league by February, the EL and FA cup and Skippy gets player of the season! : ostrich:

I would prefer him to go abroad, but please please, please

do not come to WHL and score and then run around kissing the badge of your new club.

I could have happily watched Sheringham get the full Ramsay Bolton treatment for that

What is annoying me is it's starting to appear on here that if you're in the 'if Harry Kane leaves then he's dead to me' camp then you automatically must be pro-Levy/ENIC, and vice versa. Believe it or not the two are not mutually exclusive so to clarify my position is...

Yes, if Kane leaves, he's dead to me as far as football is concerned. I will not 'wish him well'. My focus is solely on Tottenham Hotspur FC. That doesn't mean I support Levy/ENIC either. I am also very much in the 'ENIC/LEVY OUT' brigade, because again, Tottenham is my sole focus, and I think we'd be much better off with them gone.

Them's my two cents!

"I'll also get Danny Rose as back up for LB position"

"I'll hand in my resignation then"

I don't want him to go. But if he does,I will get over it, eventually. I have been here before.
Big Pat was my first and biggest hero at Spurs. He left and joined Woolwich.
Thankfully Harry isn't about to do that because they are in no better a position than we are.
"The crest on the front of the shirt will always be more important than the name on the back"
A phrase said by another legend who I was also gutted to see leave.

I find it hard to understand those complaining but not winning a trophy, supporting selling Kane and thus reducing our chances of winning a trophy next season. We have been here before when Bale and Berbatov left and it took a while to recover. Just look at the poor results when Kane us out injured. We did OK a few years ago with 1 injury but not recently. I do not know if people believe it is getting at Levy by selling Kane when the opposite is true as the money from the sale will help him and not hurt him.

At least you're admitting our owners will never change with that comment. That's one step closer to an admittance of failure where it matters.

Yeah they won't - if your default position is to be fucked off with them you are going to be unhappy for a very long time - seriously find some positives or there's no point, supporting a team isn't supposed to make you as unhappy as you are.

The state of this thread...

still say it’s not happening. Only one original source which has been directly refuted by the club. Get a grip.

I'm struggling to see even clubs like City and United stumping up the fee demanded (and I can't see Levy backing down when he doesn't need to). Obviously could be wrong, but I don't think Levy will allow his pants to be pulled down over the price, when there's 3 years left on the contract.

So if Kane goes to a PL rival, will we want him to go on and break Shearers record or snap his ankle ASAP
I think it depends on the rival, honestly. Man City is like white noise to me, so if he goes there and wants to hoover up trophies by being involved in a god mode squad that would win regardless of your involvement, whatever. I'll feel a profound sense of ennui watching him lift the PL/CL with them, but couldn't bring myself to hate him. He stuck with us longer than 99% of players with his talent would have.

But if he joined Chelsea or United, I want that ACL pinging like a fucking banjo string.

Either way it's bad news for us

If we force him to stay it will unavoidably have an impact on his performances and the general happiness of the squad

The best outcome is that we maximize the fee to city or are able to entice a team like PSG at a slightly lower fee so we can sell him abroad. But if he's dead set on staying in the PL, there's really not much we can do.

People are kidding themselves if they think Levy will just sit on Kane and refuse him his move. Bale got his move, Suarez got his move, van Persie got his move and Ronaldo got his move. If he wants to leave he'll be able to, and it's in no one's best interests for it to get dirty.

LOL, your deflection tactics don't work with me Blanchflower Blanchflower I have found many positives under ENIC and have said them many times.

Wanting more for my football club and not wanting it to be under the control of a bunch of greedy pigs that couldn't care less about football or the supporters doesn't mean supporting Spurs makes me unhappy, it just means I think the club deserves better than the snake oil salesmen in charge.

People are fed up of being told by the disingenuous ENIC bots to "stop complaining" and "be careful what you wish for."
