Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Forcing Kane to stay only hurts us.
We'll lose tens of millions in fee, lose hundreds of thousand a week in wages for a player who won't, no matter how hard you deny it, give anywhere near 100%

If he wants out, let him. Just make sure we don't get shafted. Either a huge fee or top, top players in exchange.

Firstly fcuk Kane's needs. It is only what he allegedly wants although we all know he is angling for a move.

Do I blame him? Yes. Simple. You love a club then you stay and he is not even going to wait for a new manager and any new ideas they may bring.

On us getting players in exchange, when has that ever worked in our favour? Never in answer and we will get shafted.

So for me the only stance is fcuk off, get a new manager, buy some players, including a striker or two and obviously other players or buy the other players because it's as simple as for what we pay you, we expect you to play.

Then once the transfer window closes get on with it.

Now we all know the likeliest outcome is Kane goes and at that time he becomes a non-entity. For now he is just another player who has shown their true colours, which is to then it's just a trade.

So please no more kissing of the badge or otherwise because it's fake.

To be fair he seems to always get 1 bad ankle/hamstring injury a season now.

I wonder if Harry is panicking how many more actual seasons of top flight football he can play.
This is a fair point.

Kane would probably prefer to win titles with us over winning them somewhere else. But his ramping injury history probably has made him a bit more opportunistic and is looking for options because he doesn't want to retire without at least one.

Im sure Levy regrets not selling Erisken at his peak, and this is going to be one of the reasons he wont reject any offer over £120 million for Kane, let's take the football out the equation as Levy is just a businessman, it makes good business sense to sell a depreciating asset.

If we were in Harry's shoes, we'd all be doing the same thing, let's be honest.

If I'm in a job where I feel I'm stagnating, and get offered the chance to move to a company where I can achieve more, and get more money whilst doing so, I'd move. It's the same thing.

Of course he'd rather win it all with Spurs, but we're as far away as we were pre Poch to doing that. He needs to leave for the sake of his career, and I don't blame him.

Spurs have failed him.

I wouldn't.

I also don't really think you can compare working a normal job to earning millions playing a game you love for the team you apparently support.

In his position, I wouldn't ever leave, so I can only assume he's not actually a Spurs fan.

So you would be happy to end your career with potentially no silverware to look back on? That's not the mentality of a footballer.

Do you seriously think he'd be happy looking back in 20 years time at no trophies, no medals but he was Spurs top scorer ever? I don't.

I think you said we'd all do the same, and I wouldn't.

I wouldn't necessarily be happy about not winning silverware, but as a Spurs fan, playing for Spurs, breaking club records and holding a place in the clubs history would be more of an accomplishment than cheat moding my way to some medals at Man City.

Get your tongue out of Harry's arse, Gatsby. Dogs do that. You're not a dog are you, Gatsby?

He just said a big F U to the fans so why give him a send off. He did this 3 days before fans could go to the games again after being locked inside for the last year. If he came out and said his love for the club and that Daniel Levy did not match his ambition and handed in a transfer request, I could take it. He has not done that he has leaked to Sky Sports that he wants to leave to win trophies. He could of left with his head held high but he has not done that he is trying to do it in such a snide way. I have much more respect for Danny Rose who was willing to criticise the clubs ambition outright when it comes to signing players or the way Eriksen(Not the timing) came out and said he felt he needed a new challenge than what Kane has done. The fact is if he did it the honorable way he would of lost out on cash and proves that he is a merc.

I think it's a bit different for professional players. Most talk about clubs they supported growing up rather than who they continue to support.

It can also work the other way. Le Tissier was a Spurs fan but happy to stay at Southampton.

Fabrizio has tweeted it, looks like it’s actually happening.

"THFC - NO intention to sell"

So gonna cost a fuck ton then. Hope they stand their ground - £150m or fuck off.

The contract thing is irrelevant re signing a new one. Certainly nobody expects or expected Harry to sign a new one. Means nothing considering he's 3 years left on this one, and would be 30 when it expires.

Sorry I asked. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Also no transfer request, guess he has too much respect for the club than to forego his loyalty bonuses...

Levy would rather sell to City than Utd. Levy tried to force Berbatov to City but the player refused as he was set on joining Utd.

Levy despises Utd as much as Chelsea
True. but I think this might just come down to economics.

I don't see City really pushing it, or getting near Levy's valuation. UTD I can.

Anyway, who knows. Maybe Levy will just put his foot down full stop.
