Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It's unacceptable but the reality. We're not getting close to the top 4 this season unfortunately. But at least if we accept that now then it will save on some dissapointment down the line. If we make the top 6, play some good football along the way and have long moved on from this Kane circus then I think that will be a pretty good and acceptable season.
Agreed the top four is out of the question as the competition is streets ahead before a ball is even kicked; unfortunately the slap-head (Levy) believes so much in the Europa bollocks league that he doesn’t give a second glance or maybe doesn’t give a fuck about how it effects the premier league battle. I’ve said it year in and year out and I’m always slagged off or dismissed for saying it... if Tottenham can’t avoid the Europa bollocks the premier league is dead before it’s even began.

As to Kane: I think he’s here this season and gone to City on the cheap next summer.

Levy’s a wanker! :levywtf:

In recent years City have by and large just gone and paid whatever fee, because most of the deals have been within reason, for their bottomless pockets! It seems that 160m+ is a stretch even for City, and it's a bit more like Pep at Barca, where a "reasonable" deal had to be struck. On that note; something which hasn't been touched upon is the fact that Pep and those two blokes who came from Barca (the DoF and someone else, I forget who) do have previous strikes against while at Barca. They rolled out all the dirty tricks and tapping up for Fabregas and Pique, and I'm sure there was a few more instances.

Which is a worry, because iirc they were fully prepared to play the long game, and wait a season (or two even) while continuing to stir the (shit) pot during the season(s) in between. We wouldn't want that.

I bet those who are all shafting Harry are also ‘Enic Out’ the irony gets better and better. Truth is none of you have the faintest clue when Harry’s official ‘return date’ is, messages coming out from the club with relation to Harry will be affected by the negotiations currently ongoing between them and Man City.

There's much more to this story than we fans know right now. And that's why I've cut Kane a bit more slack than some. We only know what we read online, and that's usually only some of the truth or it twists the truth. Not saying that Kane hasn't let himself and us down big time. But some people are acting like he's fisted their wives and I don't think we should be quite at that stage just yet msyelf.

My point was that yes Harry Kane wasn’t at training, but the sports tabloids and Twitter turned it into a story of ‘mutiny’ which has clearly rilled up the entire fan base I would say unjustifiably so. For me Kane deserves better from us fans.
Well, Kane's "message to fans" today has done its job on at least one rube.

Harry and his camp were leaking stories about him wanting to leave before our season even ended while we were still playing meaningful matches. If it was all just a simple misunderstanding the way you seem to think it is, why did it take more than 24 hours to clear up? You're being played for a fool here, it's not that hard a situation to understand.

Harry gave a middle finger to the club and supporters and you want us to defend him? Nah mate.

Honestly I think the media and the sad pathetic Twitter trolls have duped us fans, the vitriol directed at Kane has been quite unfair over a rumor that he skipped training. Seems like he had a reasonable excuse and he does really need as much of a rest as possible. It’s quite ironic that the fans talk about how players have no loyalty yet the first sniff of some bullshit DailyMail rumor about skipping training and the fans turn on Harry. Mob mentality and Twitter nonsense at its worst is what I have witnessed over the past week. Football has really lost its head with this clickbait fueled crap and 24 hr news cycle.

Why would the club be planning to fine the player if he had a reasonable excuse? Why would Nuno say it was an internal problem that they had to deal with?

Kane didn’t turn up when he was supposed to and went AWOL. That’s just a fact. He could have explained 5 days ago why he didn’t report in. He still hasn’t explained, even today he has refused to get into specifics. That’s because he knows he’s in the wrong. If the club are expecting you to be at work, you need to come to work. Not stay on holiday for 5 days before you pick up the phone.

I think you’re out on a limb on this one, but if you’re right then bravo.

Personally, I just think Kane has surrounded himself with morons and they fucked up.
Perhaps. You’re probably right.

I just don’t think transfers are as dramatic as we think they are. A huge pantomime is created, mainly because it’s a lot of fun, but elite athletes are not bought and sold on a whim.

I appreciate I’ve spent the last few days calling Charlie Kane a simpleton.

Jesus Christ, get a grip. The worlds not ending.

At Spurs our world has ended. We have shown a lack of leadership, a lack of ambition. As a result we are left with the following:
  1. Those vampire squids at ENIC who will continue to suck the life out of the club.
  2. No strong leadership.
  3. No Talisman players.
  4. Several mediocre, unfit parasite players who simply wish to leech a wage they do not earn and abuse our club.
We have finished lower now for 4 consecutive seasons and now are even finishing below the likes of West Ham. We have become the laughing stock of football. A joke. A disgrace. No self respecting player will ever join us after this fiasco.

Its heartbreaking. Instead of being competitors, we have degraded back into a mid table club. At this rate, in another 4 seasons, we risk being relegated.

Levy must go! Anyone who doesn't see this is either not a fan or doesn't understand the problem. They have ruined this club. Why do people support them ruining it further?

Has been told City aren't going to pay the money and trying to back track

Whats his excuse for the Neville interview ,begging city to sign him before we had even finished last season

That interview and resulting shit storm was a thousand times worse than the petty stuff he did this week. If we’d won that Villa game we could have been in the EL and had an extra route to the CL this season. Arrogant in the extreme to put himself before the club a week before the season ends.

Everyone makes mistakes. If Harry is our player come Sept 1st, we should forgive and forget. And sing his name.
