Harry was on holiday after a long hard golden boot winning season and little rest in the post season due to the seemingly now media forgotten European champions competition. He’s home a few days late- the media put front page spin on it and the so called fans forget his recent efforts and cyber-crucify the man before he’s allowed to say his piece. With the exception of some sensible responses fromTBF if he said this a week ago, 3 days before he was due back, it would sound a bit weird.
regarding the Kane statement yesterday, the timing of it is too coincidental with the Grealish transfer and Messi news.
He's just trying to appease the fans now as I think he knows he is in the wrong but I don't think a lot will buy it because like mentioned, why not come out on Monday and just explain what the situation is and carry on with his work. That would have been the better option.
I wouldn't be surprised if he signed a new contract to get everyone back on his side, but then has an actual release clause for next season.
Lol because he's gone about this the wrong way. Corrupt billionaire playthings pleading poverty and putting the onus on Kane to drive a price down. Whether an agreement is in place between levy or not - we don't know - it wouldn't have been "city can fuck us over".So much butt hurt in this thread.
Grown men slagging off a player they used to idolise. Because he has the sense to want to leave a sinking ship after giving everything. Being the new Jimmy Greaves. Single handedly beating the scum on numerous occasions. His achievements for us manifold.
But he has taken on levy the liar and now he's the devil.
Lol. You lot deserve Levy.
Look, at the end of day, City won’t be paying what we want and Pep’s desperate statement yesterday is proof of that. They have upset the apple cart and are trying to get him on the cheap, pricks!!!! Thankfully it doesn’t work like that with Levy. Harry Kane will just have too like it or lump it. He can always buy out his contract if he truly wants to get out, which we all know he won’t. It’s time to improve the squad with excellent players like Romero and plan with Harry in the team next season. As pissed off as you all are, we are a better team with him than without him. The thought of Bergwijn, Ali etc upfront gives me nightmares. Forget this City bullshit, Kane will be here at least another season and well played Spurs for not being bullied by both Kane and city

Still fucking take the money though, dont theyFrom the Athletic article about City
'Why the desperation to not sell to City? Many Premier League clubs are concerned their success and financial clout are damaging the competition. Villa are not alone in this.'
Would make sense why we are very reluctant to let Kane go there. Very glad that clubs are aware of this as it ensures the PL doesn't turn into say the Bundesliga where all the best players from that league get poached by the top team.
I guess the difference here is that I don’t beilive a word that’s not from an official source and then it’s Nuno comment vs Harry. I pick Harry. I get that it’s easy to believe the story, but it doesn’t make sense to me as much as it does to you. I can believe the club would allow negative press they didn’t explicitly state and Harry performs well under pressure. If it was planned Harry would have logically said so on Monday, the first day he was "due back" and purposefully "missed training" according to the press and squashed the rumours immediately.
Why would be let his reputation be dragged for an entire week, also, why would the club allow the rumours to circulate and not address them?
It makes no logical sense.
The more logical reasoning would be that Kane and whomever is advising him, overplayed their hand have now realised City aren't going to pay the kind of money we want for him and is now in full damage control over his behaviour.

Yeah my point here isn't just about Spurs though.Apart from giving into them on a sale and then them continuously coming back for you best players, not selling to them because of that completely makes sense And is pretty obvious.

The whole time thanks.I don't know how long you've been watching Enic but for me I'm glad Kane is calling out Levys bullshit.
Objection. Circumstantial.Wrong on every level.
Firstly, Son liked an insta tweet criticising Kane. Dier posted an insta story indirectly criticising Kane.
Nuno said it was 'an internal matter'. He would not have phrased it like this if Kane was not meant to come back anyway.
Every single reliable outlet, Alasdair Gold, The Athletic etc. reported that Kane was meant to turn up to training. Instead he is in Florida.
