Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Honestly, that was another embarrassing performance. 2-1 at 70 minutes in and had to bring on the “big guns” to help beat part time dustbin men.

To top it all off, you let them score an absolute worldie. One of the sexiest goals iv seen.

God help us this season.

He's captain of England.

He should beat Sir Jimmy's record by the middle of next season

Most of Jimmy's goals were scored against teams lower in the division(s) than Spurs.

Yep
This season he’s destroyed NS Mura and Pacos Ferreira

Thing is, he’s more than a goal scorer so when he isn’t notching, he still contributes (this season aside).

You raise some good points tho and I do worry that despite his all round game, he’s past his best. Just turned 28 and lacking physicality to compete for loose balls, press and run in behind. Needs to look at his lifestyle and training, perhaps take a leaf out of Ronaldos approach. I would play him PL only and have him doing hard physical sessions tues-thu for two months. Beast him

Is there a Kane song to the tune of vindallo ? Cause some little girl was singing all 2nf half in corner of south stand. Pretty funny and now I can’t stop singing it lol.
Also considering the situation the competition the opposition and the weather thought support was very decent. 25k be my guess doubt many other clubs would have got that in the situation. Really thought might be 15k.

His contribution and assists are overrated outside of the 14 last season of which 99% came in a purple patch between August and December.
In the 5 years prior, he has 18 assists combined, the highest being 7 and the rest between 1 and 4.

Most of Jimmy’s goals were scored on waterlogged swamps with a 15kg ball in an era where you could knee high tackle from behind.

Put Kane in the 60s and see how many he scores.
Jimmy today though……

I’m not talking assists mate, he gets involved in the game regardless compared to other out and out goal scorers like aubameng. He used to do it by pressing and running, that’s evolved into the deeper playmaker role. I want to see the former

While the topic is hot, thought I’d look up the 19/20 season

18 PL goals only played 29 games
Scored 1 v top 6 (Liverpool)
1 v traditional rivals (Woolwich penalty)

I’ll be kind and add bonus penalty v Bayern

2 assists, none v top 6

Yeah, I got the same "X" treatment.

Peak value, aging body (esp. given natural lack of pace and dodgy ankles), desperately wants away, attitude in the shitter. For someone who's so allegedly good at business, Levy has seemed to master failing to sell high.
The last thing I want to do is defend Daniel Levy

But unless I am mistaken City never actually offered £120m for Kane

The money was never on the table

75m with add ons was an insulting offer and we were right to turn it down

Was 6th on the list and also turned us down through lack of ambition. Even he couldn't work wonders with this squad.

If you had anything to redeem Kane’s shortcomings with, you’d post it

Like the fact that he won the golden boot last season? Or the fact that his record is up there with the best in the world over the last 8 seasons? Or the fact that, if we actually matched his ambition and he stayed at the club, he would have every chance of becoming the clubs record scorer?

Every player outside of Messi and Ronaldo has shortcomings if you want to nit pick. People throw all sorts of accolades and compliments at Lewandowski, yet look at the quality of the opposition he's scoring his goals against most of the time, in the Bundesliga, all while playing for one of the best two or three clubs in world football year after year.

Top scorer and top assists in the most difficult competition in the world last season, all while not playing for anything like a top side, and he's apparently regressed.

Another Woolwich fan in disguise. Absolute cretin.

His figures are incredible and he is still one of the best in the World without a doubt but he has stopped pressing the last few seasons and that has negatively impacted the whole team as he was so key to our press.

Lewandoski has won stuff and scores in big games
