If you're a pure counter-attacking team, or too heavily reliant on it, the smaller sides will counter that by simply ceding possession to you, and forcing you to take the initiative. If a team isn't coached well in how to unlock a team in this fashion, they will struggle. You have to have a lot of individual talent and explosive/technical players to play counter attacking football consistently and effectively. One thing we badly lack now is defenders who can play a bit and transition us from attack to defence fluidly.
Any decent striker with some aerial presence and physicality would help. Kane is not that man anymore
This reply completely sidesteps the matter of counter attacking football vs Burnley et al.
Your reply merely hints at pumping a long ball up to a big man which defenses like that will eat up all day long. Ergo; not gonna get the job done.

Skipp: All of us need to step up and help create chances for him [Kane] or get goals in other ways, maybe set-pieces so it doesnt just fall on Harry to score all of the goals, there are other players capable of doing that

Missed a couple of chances today he would usually score, but it's coming. Once he gets his first PL goal of the season a bundle will follow if we play how we did at times in this game, especially in the second half. Let's not pretend Harry didn't miss chances in previous seasons when he still got 20-30 goals.

just too selfish. tried a stupid chip instead of passing a team mate in a much better position. 0 goals, 0 assists so far this season.

Most strikers would have done exactly the same thing, for fucks sake. Do you think if that's Salah he's passing the ball to anyone there? Him being so greedy at times is part of the reason why he has a world-class goal-scoring record. Or have you forgot that?

of course, but is it not more important that the team scores than that kane gets the goal? another player would have a much better chance. if kane is less selfish he will get fewer goals but spurs will probably get more and that is what is important.
top players would have passed the ball in that position rather than wasting the chance like that.
Once he gets one he'll go on to score something like 10 in 10. It's almost guaranteed.
Most top strikers do exactly what Kane attempted, especially if they are desperate for a goal. That doesn't make it the right thing to do, but Kane didn't do anything a lot of others wouldn't in that moment. A few inches higher and people are talking about an incredible goal.
It’s ok to drop points between August and October because Kane needs to warm up
