Dont know of that one but even then any offer near 100m was a great offer.

I support the system which Conte trusts in, and is likely to build success for us long term if we are patient with it and he gets the right backing. Klopp & Guardiola both had massive issues in their first season with not necessarily having the right personnel, but they stuck with their system.
It isn't perfect. No system will look perfect with this squad. But we have obviously fucking improved, every metric shows this. We lost 2-0 to the European Champions at Stamford Bridge and now you want to rip up the whole system? Get a grip.
If we can consistently beat the sides who you don't consider 'proper', we will be doing well enough in the table.
We havent lost in the league yet, but faced only 1 top 10 team and the rest between 11-20. We also lost to Mura and got our arses handed vs Chavs. Had trouble breaking down 10 men teams or the likes of watford. . If we had stuck to the 'system' vs Chavs, the tie would be over already.I support the system which Conte trusts in, and is likely to build success for us long term if we are patient with it and he gets the right backing. Nuno and Jose were doing well enough in the table but the football was also unwatchable
We drew with a Liverpool team that had played 6 games in the two week period we rested and who were under strengthWe havent lost in the league yet, but faced only 1 top 10 team and the rest between 11-20. A bit too premature to think the 'system' works. Hopefully it does.
It’s been shitThe football hasn't been unwatchable under Conte. It's not been free flowing but we on average are creating more chances than under Nuno, and by a significant margin. The chances just aren't been generated enough for Son/Kane.
And also, we weren't doing well in the table when Nuno or Jose were sacked.

They had also lost to leicester and drawn with them in the previous two games before us. Played them at a good time when we got that draw.We drew with a Liverpool team that had played 6 games in the two week period we rested and who were under strength
Im not saying he should throw out his system. But there is no real proof that its working for us yet. Some players have been trying harder and its helped. We will see how it goes in the next month or two. As long as he isnt a slave to his system even when its obvious its not working, that the important part. There's definitely a toss up between 343 and 352 and I think Conte will eventually decide on the latter, but in terms of play 3 at the back and the general principles of a Conte setup, those are remaining. We're picking up points on a consistent basis, it doesn't need to be against the top 3 to be relevant.
Mura was incredibly early in to Conte's tenure when he was working out who he could trust. The only really bad result has been the Chelsea one, and again they're MILES ahead of us in terms of squad strength and well further in to their own project under Tuchel. Conte isn't about to throw out his system because of that result, and nor should he.
Can you show me the source for this?I should start by making it clear I'm not trying to defend Kane, but these types of stats (as you've acknowledged, in fairness) aren't necessarily that reliable.
If, for example, we take 'points-won-whilst-playing' as a reliable indicator of performance, you might be surprised to learn that Winks comes top, having won 64.7% of the points available. Next comes Lloris on 63.7, with Son, Kane & Dier (in that order) all in the 62—63% range.
I doubt, however, you'd find anyone here arguing Winks was our best player.
Not us who think he was worth 50M, we’d have been delightedOh fuck me. If we had sold Kane for 100m every single one of you cunts would have gone mental and you all fucking know it.
Those that are angry are looking at Kanes form now and seeing a better deal. The fucker just hd one of his best seasons. You'd have gone mental.
Those are exactly the same players we had from last year except last year we had Sissoko and Aurier…Sucks in the current squad… but you look around the squad and who are the creative players?
Son - Weak passer and racked up most of his assists by beating a player wide and crossing. Doesn’t seem to have his pace anymore.
Lucas - Can dribble and create space but usually can’t pass.
PEH - Not a good footballer
Reggie - Average left back that occasionally creates a chance
Emerson - Poor attacker
Skipp - Progressive but rarely gets to the final 3rd
The rest are center backs. I mean who is going to create for Kane in this XI? If we can’t create for him, he doesn’t provide much.
I'm not interested in your 'imho'.
Observing those around him, Kane is as good as any alongside. So play him. Those around him aren’t the reason he’s missed 8 big chances in the PL though
We already went here the other day:
A situation where a player should reasonably be expected to score, usually in a one on one scenario or from very close range when the ball has a clear path to goal and there is low to moderate pressure on the shooter. Penalties are always considered big chances.
Every player misses chances but I also posted this:
Even Son, having a relatively subdued season has missed 7 but scored 8
Salah has missed 12 but scored 16
Jota missed 8 but scored 10
Mane missed 10 but scored 8
Vardy missed 5 but scored 9
Antonio missed 5 but scored 8
Kane has missed double the amount he’s scored: 4 goals 8 big chances missed.
This has absolutely nothing to do with his teammates.
They would have offered at least Grealish money.I'm not interested in your 'imho'.
You stated that "Levy should have taken City money". But you don't know what Man City offered?
Good post. Anything near 100m would be non existent today.Dont know of that one but even then any offer near 100m was a great offer.
Yes. Not less. I don’t believe in 100m for Grealish and 75 or 85 m plus top ups for Kane. Nonsense.
