Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Everybody says he's a No. 10, but I swear he's our future No. 9. He turns defenders inside out, backwards and forwards, and we've not seen that finishing ability since Bale. He's a monster in the box, with one hell of a forehead as well.

This kid leads our attack, and long may he reign.

Gooners have gone from saying he was 'overrated' and would be 'shown up against decent opposition' to trying to goad us with him being on their books aged 8. Among hundreds. We picked him up at 11.

I love it. They are so wound up. Clutching at straws in an attempt to turn this into anything other than a massive positive for us.

The thing that's nice is he doesn't look decidedly different in either role. He affects the game the same ways in either spot. If we got another excellent 9 he could play with him, just like if we got another attacking midfielder he could play with him as well.

It's such a luxury to have a player that seems so comfortable no matter what is around him. He can create for himself, he can create for others, he plays well off the back shoulder of defenders for creative players like Eriksen to play him through, he heads the ball well, he leads the press well and also can assume the defensive responsibilities of a #10.

I don't worry about where he plays at all. It's just a matter of us bringing other quality players into the team. Which judging by our recent transfer dealings is far from a guarantee.

Another thing that I love about this kid is that he's not a flash player with the ball, either. You look at another of our academy graduates like Townsend and it's like you can read his mind every time he receives the ball "Now, let's see how many step-overs I can cram into this dribble before I SHOOT!"

Kane doesn't fuck around, he's just simple and direct with the ball glued to his feet, he doesn't do fancy flicks and shit he just dribbles through and creates scoring opportunities.

Good on him.

I agree with this. Would be most convenient for us if he played there with Eriksen the #10. At first I thought Kane would be isolated or not as effective in the lone striker role but he's doing great, and against top opposition.
Has shades of Lewandowski in him ..you lot of have some player on your hands
Been thinking this a lot. Very similar style, not overly pacey but can beat players, great hold up and passing etc.
