Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It was intended in the spirit in which you intended it my dear man. Paulinho remains gash & is unlikely to improve. You were right about him. I don't recall many other contre temps other than that. But you are still a likeable cunt. :adebaehug:
Don't remind me about the "Paulinho" incident - we'd never even met before - funny how things work out. I was right though - you cunt. :paulinholol:

You haven't been proven wrong... yet. But I concede that unless he pulls a Harry Kane turn of fortunes, then he may not make the grade as you said. I will still support the poor sod while he wears our shirt but he doesn't look like he will prove me right-the cunt. :paulinhobored:

Ambivalent. We were punishing them. Poch could have brought you on (or me) & we would have had enough in the tank to see that one out with a full WHL behind us. I was working but watched it during a break (or 2) & the crowd sounded fucking amazing on TV- 12th man & all that. I wouldn't have cared who we brought on. Did he shine? Nope. Did he do anything wrong? Nope. Did he look like an expensive Brazilian superstar? Nope. Pretty much sums up his Spurs career

This was my first ever post on here back in August, Nostradamus?

A great piece by Martin Keown in the Daily Fail....miracles do happen...
Quick thinking gives him edge

There was always a question mark over Kane’s pace, but now he seems much faster —that’s because he thinks quicker than those around him. He assesses the situation early, which allows him to make quick, correct decisions, just like Teddy Sheringham used to do. He knows when to apply the pace and when to pass. He is always looking for runners and because he is often a move ahead, things are coming off for him. His decision-making against Chelsea was as good as it gets and that was against one of the best sides in Europe. It was the complete centre forward’s performance.

Kane has drawn comparisons to Teddy Sheringham for the way he plays

He’s a hard-working fans’ man on the pitch

Kane is the Tottenham fan on the pitch. As a local lad he is more in tune with the feel of the club and can sense if things are taking a dip — that’s when he digs even deeper. He inspires his team-mates with his work and we have seen players over the years become the driving force for their team. That’s what Kane is now for Spurs.

Credit Mauricio Pochettino for giving him the chance and nurturing the likes of Kane, Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb.

Too many people focus on what young players can’t do rather than what they can do and when you look at the money Tottenham have spent, it’s no wonder the fans have loved seeing a kid grabbing his chance with both hands.

Kane celebrates his goal against Chelsea in front of the Spurs fans

...and he’s got the technique to match it

0.68
Harry Kane's goals-per-game rate this season. In his previous four seasons, including loan spells with Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich and Leicester, he averaged 0.23 goals per game.

Initially it was Kane’s work ethic that impressed but now he is showing the technical ability to match. He has scored from distance before but his first against Chelsea proved it was no fluke. He seeks out the corners of the goal with power and precision. His second showed great technique to spin and take Nemanja Matic out of the game but it was the finish that I loved. Lots of young strikers try to hit the leather off the ball but Kane was patient. He dragged his foot, waited and made sure he was set before pulling the trigger. It was a fine finish and he is a far better player than people give him credit for.

He’s always on the move and nightmare to mark

The great thing about Kane is that he does not stand and wait to be marked. His positional awareness is outstanding. He will pull off into deeper or wide positions to receive the ball because he knows that defenders can’t follow him there. If he stays central and defenders try to get tight, he anticipates that and tries to run in behind. He is constantly moving and that makes him hard to keep out of the game.

Kane gave the Chelsea defenders a tough game with his strength and power

Powerful play is key

He might only be 21 but Kane is no kid. He’s tough, strong and wants to take the fight to his opponents. He shrugged off Oscar with ease for his first goal and gave John Terry, Gary Cahill and Matic nightmares. Cahill in particular couldn’t cope with Kane’s combination of power and desire. They were all swinging for Kane but they couldn’t put a glove on him.

I'd have gone with the other hand I think. But their photoshop skills are superior to mine to be fair, so what do I know.
'Black crayon effect' must be the latest adobe innovation. Looks almost like a real life doodle.
:lennonlol:

The whiskers are a nice touch. Still can't help loving Terry's "oh shit" face as he realises Kane's shot has made it 4-1. If I could distill that match and drink it, I'd never touch a drop of Peroni again.

Someone tweet him asking him to commit to Tottenham, some of my 'mates' are saying he'll be playing for man Utd before the end of the year because he wants to play 'for a vastly superior club' jokers lol he plays for the club he supports regularly and is loving it, Man Utd are 1 place above us in the table and aint beat us since 2012 vastly superior club my ass!

You need to tell your 'mates' that they're cunts. Other than that there is no way I'm telling you how to live your life.
