Some people say really world class players improve all the team, what can we say about a guy that turns everyone worst in the team? Well, that's Winks, without him we are top 4 contenders, with him we struggle to play team in the relagation zone or even from the lowest leagues. He's probably one of the worst that put our shirt and no one will remover him for any good thing once he left.

I have given Winks a lot of outs but for me it’s his defensive element. He isn’t bad on the ball, he can pass and control well however his defensive positioning is still poor after all these years and unlike say Skipp he isn’t a terrier who is quick and strong in the tackle.
I don’t mind him in a midfield 3 where his role is too pass and retain possession but in a 2 he leaves us way to open and easy to get at. He is home grown however and therefore an upgrade will likely cost a bit as we will need another home grown.
Wondering if the highly rated Devine is close to ready.
It's not science, the reason he's still at the club is because we've recruited poorly particularly in midfield, he should have been replaced or moved on ages ago but poor planning from the club has meant that he's stayed in the team.
He’s also homegrown and club trained and probably (just) ahead of Harvey White at this point.

Given the international reach of the academies now and how some of the bigger clubs have basically cheated with recruitment at this level, I wonder if those rules don’t need to be looked at and revised
winks has made some of the recruitment look poor. look at PEH now hes in there with a competent partner? completely different player now, stick him in with winks and PEH gets slated. ive never seen a player kill his side more than harry winks. if everton do buy him in the summer im putting a grand on them to go down! easiest money you'll ever win.
I think some of you actually fucking fancy him.
