He does play the occasional brilliant ball forward..then his system returns to normal mode and continues its side and back pass routine

I’d say he does play the occasional decent ball forward. He can pick out a pass that many other players can make.

IMO, An actual brilliant ball is the types of passes that players like Eriksen and KDB (and sometimes Kane) make. Passes that we don’t even see are available from a spectators birds eye view. He doesn’t really have brilliance in his locker… just occasional competence. And he doesn’t have consistency either. A progressive passer like Bentancur is much more consistent

How ironic.
A small core of people trying to outdo each other in slagging off a Tottenham player(and a genuine Tottenham fan) don't see what they are doing, and are now abusing Tottenham fans who are not prepared to sink to the same depths that they are plumbing.

And you can't see it.

Not sure what is worst in this scenario, the abuse of one of our players as if it was some childish competition - or the abuse of other Spurs supporters who don't want to join in.
