Always thought something was wrong, never been as bad as this but even under Jose or Conte we always seemed to have had more players out than other clubs. Always got the sense we did the medical department on the cheap.
All the way back to Poch I'd say. And probably even further. We've either always had too many injuries at the same time. Or players out forever (Dele, Lamela etc.).
Given the comments both Paratici and Lange have made about our recruitment setup being behind the times. It's not farfetched at all that the same applies to medical.
It reminds me of the whole buy cheap buy twice quote. You think you are being smarter by saving on the medical team when in reality you are losing money overall as you either need a big squad or you get less European qualifications due to the squad being more injured and fatigued.
